It's a data not just pure speculation. Whatever you say, no smartphone manufacturers is beating Apple now, just accept that fact OK. Don't waste your time depending your own ego. Just look at the data, just look around you, what phone they are using? I will count 10 is to 1 iPhone user. Look at the phone store around you, what accessories they have, have you seen any accessories specially designed for HTC, LG, Samsung, Sony E, Moto? Yes, they have but very few.

Havent used an iphone tho, jus an old ipod touch 2g. So no way missing i4s for me (avoided i4 only for two cores looking at the trend)

[deleted post]Apple didn't allow flash on their mobile devices simply because flash is not optimized for mobile. You searched for that, even Adobe admitted it.

Also, one of the reason why Apple need to keep the original design as much as possible because of so many 3rd party accessories that will become obsolete if they changed the design specially the size. Count the numbers of docks, sound system, and custom made system. Some of them are very high-ends. Besides, the current design still as its best, and no current smartphones in the industry that will surpass the iPhone 4 design. Let's accept that fact.

I feel, people mostly go for apple coz its apple (the brand), the enticing look of the phone, and the app-store (esp games). As for other functions go, almost all os can do the basic. And for above those routine raw power n uses go, one wud hardly be needing that routinely. So their absence hardly matters. Do I sound ignorant? But thats how most of us use a phone. And when any new game arrives, it will hit this 3.5incher first, only later the 4+ inchers (xperia play might be the only exception).

My good friend works for a big carrier and has been for many years. When he sells a handset to a customer weather its a IPhone or Android Smartphone, he has either two things he has to do. If its a IPhone, he basically let's them know what comes with the device in the box and they are on there way with their new IPhone. Or if its a Android Phone, he sits down with the customer and has to teach them to use the Android OS, it is far to customizable for a beginner smartphone user to just walk out the door and learn how to use. IPhone is for Smartphone beginners, its for older adults and kids, or or people that want a very simple plain OS. Android is for people that want their Phone to represent them as they customize it to their personal liking, its pretty much never ending possibilities. I have used pretty much every OS, and just ditched my iPhone 4 for a SGS2 and I'm very pleased with the choice I made =). If you want a SIMPLE SIMPLE plain OS, then IPhone is for you, O and if you want dropped calls left and right with poor signal strength too.

Although i am not an apple fan myself, i have to say that the iphone 4S has kept it's original design for a reason. Many users still like the original solid design. So giving an upgrade to it seems like a good way to go. so users wont complain about sucky designs and such, lol...i am a fan of nokia but recently getting quite fed up with the way they are doing things, i mean like the N9 for example. you come up with a great design but even before it reaches my country you announced you'll be dropping meego in the not so distant future? EPIC FAIL...

And marketing too, you can find a lot of items, extras, speakers, usb cables, cases, stereos, bases, extension, remotes, tuners, etc. For iPhone/iPod..
But for others like LG, HTC, Samsung, Motorola, almost NONE :P You can't find...Speakers designed for your Galaxy 2 or Car Stereo with LG Optimus/Output :P
That's why Apple items are so popular, because people pay for those, they don't are if are speedy, has powerful cameras, has a better or bigger displays, has a lot of fancy (geeks) adds or not....
