U said iPhone users previously said megapixels like 8 or 12 as bad.
It is true because they take awful photos. Comparing professional cameras.
Why did samsung stop making 12 MP pixon series ? Because it simply horrible camera.
Or same with nokia they bought n8 with 12 MP and now releasing phones with 8 MP
Lmao because they don't do it right.
iPhone 4s has lockscreen shortcut and also fastest camera in taking photos along with apps like iMovie or camera+ implemented on phones.
Without developing tech if u release stuff it fails epic.
Xoom failed epic since it worked opposite to what they gave in commercials.
Apple gives tech little late but they develop it completely and release it.
Last year also same iPad with 256 MB ram beat all others into water.

Apple A5 processor - designed by Apple and manufactured by Samsung. So it's not a Samsung chip, because they just produce them. It's Apple team that created the processor.

You can have all the high end hardwares design into a single device, but remember you also need to have good apps to become useful. Remember, we are using smartphones. We need something simple and nice. User friendly....

... moreDear Matt, one thing about Apple, they have always strived to get the best components for their products. (As Samsung fans would point out, they use Samsung components for example).
So to just say dual core 1ghz and 8MP, is a very easy generalisation to make.
The dual core is an A5 chip found in the iPad 2, which is no slow poke. Is it the best? Maybe, maybe not, but it is definitely fast.
For megapixels, if it were truly that easy, then there would be no need for camera reviews now would there? Just take your money, go to a shop, and ask "Please sir, how many megapixels will this buy me?"
Apple worked hard on improving the optics, to get a good camera on the iPhone 4S.
Again, is it the best? Hard to say, maybe, maybe not. I am not here to say iPhone 4S is the best, but I am definitely saying it is not the worst.
It is a very good phone, with a very good camera, with very good performance.

... moreSo what Smartphone can beat the 1Ghz processor of Apple?, even SGS2 that has 1.2Ghz will simply leave in the dust by Apple's processing power at least in graphics performance. Don't be deceived with the Ghz speed, it's all a matter of implementation. Do you remember during the release of the first iPhone where most of Windows mobile uses up to 600Mhz processor whereas iPhone just uses the 300Mhz and yet iPhone still dumps them all. Where are they now?
And talking of megapixel race, there's a lot of forums about this, i don't care if others implement a 50mp on their mobile devices. It's not the one dictating the quality of the photos. a 16mp on a mobile can be simply beaten up a 5mp point and shoot camera.

[deleted post]what? you sounds nonsense, i don't know much about ARM, but a simple search would tell you what it is, and to tell you Apple is also one of the licensee of ARM, and Apple's A4 and A5 chip is designed by Apple based on ARM's Cortex architecture, only being manufactured by Samsung by their electronics business. And correction, Snapdragon is not a company, it's a platform developed by Qualcomm based on ARM architecture. You seems needs to search more on how OEM's and EMS business is. You must dig deeper, don't just rely on silly thoughts of other fanboys who's pretending to know everything.

- And Camera 8Megapixels?????? Sony Ericsson used to have their phone with 12Megapixels and Sony might be working on 14 or 16 Megapixels by now or 3D Camera and display as well............

Buddy when SG2 came to Mexico and US there was NOT pre... moreUS is Apples home turf so for sure you will see Yankees waving the USA flag outside of the Apple store waiting to buy an iPhone. SGS2 is one phone you mentioned yet there are many other Android options for people to buy for the specific needs they have. Apple on the other hand offers one option "take it or leave it". Don't get me wrong I like iOS and Apple but they have gotten how you say... BORING! Yawn.. I would love to see Apple bring something NEW to the table and stop recycling the same software/tech/hardware..
On another note this reminds me of the PS3 launch back in 2006. You guys remember how that went? A bunch of people pre-ordered only to Resell them for 4x more on ebay. So you never know if those 200,000 are users or people trying to capitalize on Steve Jobs death (RIP much respect) and sell an overpriced iphone 4S to hardcore fanboys...
