Samsung Galaxy II update to increase the size of icons Comments

They should have otherwise increase the icon numbers to 5 at bottom and 5rows x 4 colums (or even 5x5 like GalaxyNote)... Because 3x3 icons in 4.3" or 4.65" will be in JUMBO size and may be good ONLY for old people then...
But still, GoLauncher is there to rescue which is much better than TouchWiz and also FREE and fast too...

My GS2 got this update last week.
dont worry. it`s optional.
you will get a home changer thing after the update.
this is not really related to Apple, i think.
its just for helping old people...

korean phone makers were the first to come out with big font. then everyone copied them including nokia. now its the icon they want to upsize. maybe samsung knows a lot of people have eye problem.

Large Icons? not a good idea try circles, stars, diamonds, spade etc same size it fits my medium eyes.

Microplex, 10 Oct 2011That is going back to Bada 1.0/1.2 OS system ... Maybe that is also why Bada 2.01 OS has ... moreBut not Symbian Belle, it has completely flat menu structure, folders are optional. It's like the old Sense UI, loooong endless scrolling down of grids.

Well, If you ask me.... This is nothing but a stupid update both in terms of screen sharing and the so-called Legal battle. DAMN you, Samsung. We love you... Dont fall to apple, Though i guess you can't resist to do so. Shucks !!!!

Carphone Guy, 10 Oct 2011LOL owned by apple......Actually, more like they just owned Apple. Apple cant get a ban on them if they make these small modifications. First they changed the bumper animation when scrolling screens, then they change this. None of these changes will stop people from buying the phone (which is what Apple ultimately wants to achieve) and yet the changes will allow them to sidestep Apples legal strikes.
Win win for Samsung.
