[deleted post]Be cAreful with what you say.
This is for the old people and you can switch between normal and big icon.
is this mean samsung galaxy II will look like symbian?
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2011Careful guys, turns out Samsung hires people to fake comments and reviews. No wonder there are... morehere's another proof how Samsung fakes or imitates. Wake up people, you hated Apple so much that you forgot your own. Look into yourself first before hating others.
There are better launchers out there than TouchWizz anyway, so even if you did update you could just use GoLauncher EX or Launcher7, et cetera. Whatever they do to TouchWizz won't affect me at all because I don't use it.
dave, 09 Oct 2011This is apple's fault. i hope to god this is an optional update because if i spend £500 ... moreWhy the hell you blame Apple for this? Blame Samsung, it's their move to change the icons, not Apple.
Anonymous, 09 Oct 2011Samsung decided this themselves, why are you bringing iOS into it? If so, the other Android ph... moreha ha ha, funny Samsung fans out there...they are in the state of identity crisis. they don't know how to position themselves.
[deleted post]Did you really say that Apple is against progress??!? Really dude....,, really??? Congratulations on sounding ignorant. here's some examples....,,
without these you wouldn't be holding your smartphone. TRUTH!!!
Careful guys, turns out Samsung hires people to fake comments and reviews. No wonder there are always 'people' online bashing HTC and Sony Ericsson as well. Turns out they could be Samsung employees:
I really dont like that... I will feel that my cellphone is a tablet... this is a cellphone not tablet... do whatever they need to do to make it stay as it is... boring
Siri is AI, as opposed to voice control which is on other smartphones:
[deleted post]Siri as an app is nowhere near as integrated as it is now within the iPhone system. It has now 'progressed' from a voice app to a full fledged smartphone AI.
If Samsung will go for this kind of look...I see Symbian UI
Having seen the Bada 2.0.1, I don't believe that Samsung will make this transition to bigger icons. The Touchwiz trend (both for Android and Bada) is definitely towards smaller icons. The photo displayed here, resembles my Bada 1.2 S8500...
why don't they just make it as an option to choose from 3, 4, or 5. this way they'll all parties would be satisfied. samsung, for me i'll go for 5, cause i need that space....
i don't call this an update ,it is a downdate
this will be the most worst decision ever!!! i will immediately sale my Galaxy S2 and buy Iphone, and forget that Samsung exist as producer! is this a joke? common Samsung!!!!
This makes no sense at all. BadaOS 2.0 is going from 3 icons in a row to 4, but their flagship product is going backwards? Why? Besides, why can't they make it selectable by user? Some prefer more icons that are smaller and others larger icons and less of them on screen...
4 icons would be a uiq3 copy, not ios.. sony ericsson used it in p990, p1 and m600..
Now ill have to give my phone to my grandad. He will love the huge icons as hes half blind. Thanks crApple!!!
