If so, the other Android phones will do it too no? Wow, you fight so hard to say Samsung design is unrelated to apple, then a stupid ui change, and it's all Apple's fault? Make up your mind.

This is apple's fault. i hope to god this is an optional update because if i spend £500 on this phone to find out the UI is ruined a couple of weeks/months after i've bought it i personally will sue both companies

Well, although this way the app drawer will look really ugly, the users aren't forced to stand this. As someone mentioned below, "Everyone can use Go launcher ex or launcher pro, etc" Apple can never compete with android on these aspects;))

Increasing the size of icons is for the old who prefer bigger icons. of course, it's optional.

If Samsung does try to force this upon its customers, they do have the choice of using far better launchers like launcher pro or adw or go launcher ex. Some of the benefits Android gives you. ;-). Also, most custom rims would revert this.
