It would be really nice and wise if Canon would develope a moto mod with a cam of this caracteristics

We need this camera (large sensor, great zoom function) on our Phablets.
Just the one. No dualcam/triplecam non-sense. No need for a selfie-cam, use a mirror-back or a small rear screen to frame it or have the screen/camera flip.
Quality over quantity.

No viewfinder. :(
I have a "normal" camera and a compact that I keep in my pocket when for some reasons I can't use my default camera and there are days when I must use its viewfinder, depending on light condition. It's probably the first what I check in specs - does a camera have it or not? Then I check other specs (full manual is important, too) and read reviews and comments. Which is rather silly as it eliminates some great models that just don't have it.

Ease of use
Picture quality
Price.
I don't want a huge camera and a bag to carry the lenses, just something that delivers good photos (better than phone) with least hassle.

Sometimes a good point-and-shoot offers a better overall experience than a cheap DSLR.

SohailSays, 31 Jul 2018Why would you think powershots went off? Lol. I'm still using G7x until now and continued to work as if like a newly released camera since it has no defects.
I'm just surprised that they're still making it for specific people.

Not a major price hump from the 720, and many great features.
I hope the old model gets a small price cut, as I've had my eyes on that beauty for a while now :)
