Apple are selling to the dumb. Their devices are swanky, but the UX is a disaster. I have a Note 8 and HP ZBook X2 G4, and both are way way better for productivity tasks than the iPhone or iPad Pro or MacBook Pro. The non technical people I know own iPhone Xs, yet are broke and only use them for chat, so it's a complete waste of the power of the device. Meanwhile, sensible creatives I know own Note 4s that allow them to doodle and think using the S Pen.
Apple are making money because of the cost of their products, not sales volume, read the small print. Their best innovation since TC took over - only innovation - are the AirPods.

Hope they'll spend some of that revenue towards some "innovation"! So tired of all the same old sluggish designs and boring stuff!

This is seriously impressive! I've seen So many furious Sony fans mocking Apple and Samsung lately, but look at the numbers of Sony and then read this article. Maybe Sony could learn a thing or two about marketing and stop copying Apple in terms of hardware and price cough.. cough.. headphone jack.. 1060usd price for XZ2 in India.
