Although if you go by the specs the phone is terrible not if you have one you realize that it runs smooth it has a very bright screen camera the rear camera takes great pictures and the meager 5-megapixel front camera takes great selfies so if you're in the marker moron mid-range low and I guess it would be low on

LG Superfan, 01 Aug 2018That pen is nothing special like Spen and that pen does not justify the price it should be $15... moreYou and may be nearly all the others don't even have checked the SPECS!

This phone has top LTE coverage (13! LTE Bands),
also supports CDMA networks.
Thats a lot of licence-costs!

Of course not for performance lovers,
but SDM450 is solid and very effective.

USD 200 should be acceptable for this very special phone.

They should focus on their flagships and make them cheaper IMO, not produce overpriced entry-levels.

Pelacur, 01 Aug 2018Stupid comment ever,,,,dont worry Lg still survive dude.. I'll be happy to be proved wrong but their market share is steadily dropping and they are extremely slow in releasing software updates so I don't see any bright future for them. And then they release this for $300 and expect people to buy this

Hey guys,
a lot of complains, but nobody checks Amazon's page. :(

Amazon lists this version with
"3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage"
that's also confirmed in a user review
"the prime exclusive version has 3GB of RAM".

Start with this again . . .

akala, 01 Aug 2018Look, I understand the phone looks nice and may has very special features than its price range... moreHad you read a few comments more you would've noticed Kiya putting the phone in the ~$150 price range.

For me, I'd buy this is it were $50 or more cheaper. Because a pen and a few software additions aren't worth it if there were other phones at the same price with better overall experience.

Kiyasuriin, 01 Aug 2018SD450/2/32 For 250 with the capabilities of a note is too much?Look, I understand the phone looks nice and may has very special features than its price range.

But the 2 GB of RAM is insufficient. this phone has big screen and probably people will use the split-screen feature (because it's very suitable on such a big screen) but the RAM will be insufficient. This phone especially must have at least 3 GB of RAM (I prefer 4 GB anyway).

If it was have 4 GB RAM instead 2 GB, it would be still pricey for 300 dolars but at least it would do the job well. (I'm not to mention the cameras)

With those specs, i think there is no ideal price for this phone. Because it's a incomplete phone.

If you have this phone, and you don't feel any lag or slowing down when you're using it, then there is no problem, the main purpose is the customer satisfaction.

When LG keeps coming up with crap like this I don't really want them to succeed anymore. Leave the budget segment to the Chinese players who actually give some VFM options rather than utter crap like this.

Anonymous, 01 Aug 20182gb of ram, yuck. Yeah, saw some reviews & they said it is let down by the small amount of RAM.
I was tempted ... leave it for now.

Yes i understand it is a mid-range phone but at least give a 3GB RAM and maybe a Qualcomm chipset greater than SD 450 and maybe a bigger battery for a device that size.
You have to sweeten what u are offering to make it irresistible.
I was gonna get one as a hold over device to wait for the Q4 upcoming devices but could not go past the 2GB RAM.

LG Superfan, 01 Aug 2018Why do LG and Samsung overprice their mid rangers seriously SD450 with 2/32GB memory at $250 w... moreAnd this comes from a supertanker XD

The old stylo was a good alternative for pen seekers, it wasn't that snappy but could get the job done, camera wasn't that bad (good under the sun, bad indoors). Still, it should've been much cheaper as well.

I'd say LG is using the need for a pen to up the price a bit.
