anonymous, 24 Aug 2019well not like ipad pro is any betterYes it is, it is as fast as top laptops these days. Samsung S6 tablet at least uses 855 and has 8gb ram, that is definitely an improvement, still though much slower when top ipad pro model.

Why do you ever want 4:3 tablet when you can have 16:10 one?
I use my note 2014 edition everyday and I'm glad that it has 16:10 aspect ratio.
A4 paper format is taller than 4:3, video is wider than 4:3. I like that I can view documents in tall portrait orientation and view video without huge letterbox.
I have more code on screen with taller display too.
If you didn't try 16:10 tablets you probably should give it a chance.
Galaxy S4 is first tablet that I actually consider as replacement for my current one.

I bought the Tab S10.5 loved the widescreen for movies and photos.
Tab S2 .. I puked at the 4:3 aspect ratio, it looked horrible! So I went and bought a Tab S 8.4 on clearance.. fell in love again! Perfect..
Then came Tab S3 I cursed that Samsung get some sense and go back to Widescreen!! Finally they have got some sense and gone back to the original aspect ratio!!
Thank you Samsung for making a good decision!

I thin Apple learned out of it's fail with iPad Pro and started low and mid range tablets cause Apple knew that can't compete with surface pro in that price range but seems like Samsung want to give it a shot and I think it will be a fail like iPad pro.

The 8.4 and 10.1 and I return all because they didn't have a 4:3 . It is not more content is is less than the 4:3 and handling it is just the worst . I tried the s2 and now I own an iPad and for tablets apple just destroys the competition.
