Its just a google phone. Have you seen original Intel motherboard outselling any of the 3rd party vendors such as Asus, Gigabyte, MSI or even ECS? The Nexus phones are just there to demonstrate the original or vanilla android. Read this: They are not meant to break sales record.

I don't know why do people like to compare iPhone with Samsung's Phone(s). There are so many mobile Manufacturer's phone(s) that you can compare with. Go compare iPhone with HTC's phone(s), Motorola's phone(s), SonyEricsson's phone(s), LG's phone(s) or Nokia's phone(s). Leave Samsung's phone(s) alone! Stop comparing their phone(s) with iPhone!
Please experience the Phones first before comparing this phone , that phone! Don't just assuming this phone is better than that phone. blah blah blah~

All the comments saying 1 mil people are dumb are the same ones saying how amazing Samsung is for selling 10 mil phones. Whatever guys, high sales are great, EXCEPT if its iPhone, everything is great EXCEPT when its iPhone. We get it.
In the mean time, I am still eagerly awaiting my new iPhone 4S, and will certainly enjoy it.

I guess this kind of sales just in 24 hours is because of big noise around Iphone 4S (Iphone for Samsung) Launching.
Now all who know Iphone fans waited for this moment and purchased it. However I'm sure that next period there would be no such rapid growth of sales...

Android are for Advance people that are into latest technologies, while IOS are for Basic people that are new to latest technologies. I choose Android over IOS because I'm an advance user! IOS is too basic for me. =)

It will crap all over the Android phones just like the iPad 2 crapped all over the Android tablets.

anonymouse, 11 Oct 2011listen up iHaters! i work for a mobile service provider and trust me people love to go for iPh... moremr. anonymouse works for a mobile service provider.. and it seems he knows that people find SYMBIAN easy to use.. let me tell you, i have used symbian on touch and its horrible. ABSOLUTELY horrible with the convoluted menu structure and as such.. who says android is difficult to use?? ever used an android phone buddy? or ios for that matter?? let me guess. you have a symbian and want an iphone.. ..

What is so hard about signing up to a Google account and then hitting the green phone icon???
I purchased an iPhone for development purposes all the apps on iPhone are Google Apps e.g Google Maps when you register the device on iTunes it asks you to import contacts from Google Contacts these are all integrated in Android that is why it is the best peace out!

GSM already put up the stats for android vs iphone, and android is clearly winning... iphone has only one product, android reaches out to a lot... and it's obvious, the simple people, like my mum and all the other mums, get iphone's... people who want more and are more 'phone' smart, get the android... simple, stats show it... Cult, follow apple... Brains, get a android or 7.

So Kia must be better than BMW right? Honda must be better than Audi, since these companies produce more car models?

A phone is good only when both hardware and software wotk seamlessly with each other... The hardware should offer great specs, which to be honest S2 offers, but it also offer great apps and games to run on the hardware, which Android doesnt... So to me Apple is doing a better job in providing true smartphone experience better than Samsung... And yeah all companies make phones to make money... Do you think Samsung, Apple or any other company would continue to make phones if they were at a loss??? No... Noone's a saint...

Apple doesn't make many models in a year because they aren't so good at making mobile phones as the other companies, so face it, Apple is a computer company not a cellular/mobile company. Nokia, HTC etc etc are much better mobile phones manufacturers.
