Also.. it's not like we don't have enough sulfer.. in the earth.. And just think of electric cars 5 times the distance and weighing less...li-ion.. is on its way out

They dont have space inside. Increasing the phone size and thickness will only invite hatred.

Manufacturer should more focus on battery tech rather than SoC of GPU

Renato Oliveira, 02 Aug 2018Had they been with SD710 / SD636 on board for the same prices they'd sell like hotcakes.Dont you know that will increase the price as well? 660 is more than enough for everyday usage. Their target market is not gamer or photographer

4000 mAh is not huge. It's becoming standard for Huawei and Xiaomi. 5000 mAh would be huge for a non-tablet.

Blackberry is known primarily for solid security on it's phones and not for excellent snappers or gorgeous displays. India is a price sensitive market and people here care little about the improved security. With Redmi 5 available at less than half the price of BB Evolve, this phone is going to be an epic fail

It seems to me as a modified Nokia 7Plus.
4,000 mAh is not a big deal btw.

LG Superfan, 02 Aug 2018Nokia 7 Plus cost €300 in my country and Mate 10 €440What country are you from? 300 is a steal for the Nokia 7 Plus, at 400 I'm more inclined to wait for the Mi A2 as the benefits of the 7 Plus aren't enough to offset the price difference with the A2 for what I want from my device.

For BlackBerry and solid security, the price is good. Try to get frequent security updates with cheaper alternatives

A bit dissapointed with the design of the Evolve and Evolve X, was expecting something a little more appealing, especially after seeing the teaser video. I really like the BlackBerry KEY2 (https://techgeek365.com/the-new-blackberry-key2-specs-features-video/) a lot more.

Massive battery? Mi Mix 1 had 4000mAh and it was fine, but massive? Massive is 10000mAh Energizer battery. Dont forget the phones get 6"+ and batteries dont grow in size equaly. 5000mAh should be standart right now (on such huge phones). Its nice that processors arent as power hungry anymore, yet the screens get better and so does the content in stores get better. Also think about 7" tablets , they come with 4000+mAh regularly, some even exceed 8000mAh. Why do phones with 7" and powerhungry internals like Huawei Honor Note 10 get 5000mAh only when there is tablets with larger batteries and much less powerhungry specs?!?!?
