Curved screen is unusable and produce annoying glare. Notch is better than samsung curved screen.
I want more phone with notch. Not that ugly overpriced curved screen.

But then again majority doesn't drive the market. They just buy whatever is hot. The hotness of things are decided by the hardcore fans who do drive and buy innovation.
Also, the majority usually buys market tops and sell market bottoms. so they are most of the time wrong.

The alternative to a notch while still having sensor/camera on the front is to have a standard ”forehead” and that will give you less usable screen area since icons that you caould place on the side of the sensors then has to take up space on the normal screen area.

Tons of people whine about notches, small batteries or lack of 3.5mm jack, and then they just buy the the shit they "hate" anyway.
They did the same with non-removable batteries and because of them we don't have a choice now. I won't but a phone with a notch and no 3.5mm jack FOR NOW, but i'm aware it won't be long before i have no choices left and i have to but such an abomination (At least when it comes to the 3.5mm jack).

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018Yes. This prove that majority of people love notch. The notch has one big benefit, it tucks away the network strength, battery and wifi notifications out of the way. In a non-notched phone such as the Samsung Galaxies, that part of the screen is still not covered by view-able content, but left to the network, wifi, battery notifications
