And all those notched phones are mostly sold in China. Chinese people are weird, they are very much obsessed with Apple. They only buy Apple/lookalike products.
Just wait for Apple ditching the Notch, suddenly you'll see no notches.

.alpha, 03 Aug 2018Most prefers a notch if it means bigger screen. Only Samsung diehards wants huge bazelsErm... Having notch don't mean to be a bigger screen. In fact, the notch is blocking full screen applications like games and videos. You have to make the view-able area smaller in order to see full screen contents and that's making the screen smaller than what Samsung offering now.

Anonymous, 02 Aug 2018Accept it or not, notched phones is the future...It is not the future... you'll see - once Apple will change design, most of Chinese companies will follow. If Apple will make phone without a notch then all notch trend will be dead... easy!

Huawei is on the right direction in becoming a global player on the smartphone market. Build quality, UI, specifications of their mobile devices are surprisingly competitive, considering its price point. It would not be suprise if Huawei will eventually be Samsung's closest competitor in the rankings on mobile device area.

What we could do with is some real physical character and personality in a device. Some of my old Nokia's had nice illuminated buttons and curves, while being classy. Visually appealing coupled with great performance. Love to see a new modern classic.

Only Samsung diehards wants huge bazelsNormal people, don't give a s%^t about the notch, in fact, I don't like the notch, however when option to hide it, making icons white in the top part of the device is kinda cool, I have that way on the p20 lite and im very fond of it. Fact is people like pretty phones, and they don't care about the notch or not, they look for good camera and a pretty device

So I have a question if a company comes out with a full screen phone with the camera either under the screen or some other way that is a truly stable way to bring the camera up from the phone and does away with the notch do you think people would go with a notch or a full screen phone? So question is a full screen phone or a phone with a notch?
