The sad demise of a historical & once great company....
big shame and disapointing for motorola/lenovo and nokia for this year they dont have any competitive /compareable flagship phone in this class like samsung S9+/xiaomi Mi8/Oneplus 6/HTC U12+/LG G7/V35+, sony xperia XZ2/XZ2 premium, asus zenfone 5Z or huawei P20/P20 pro or honor 10 /note/ (V10) , Oppo find X, Vivo Nex S, and i could continue.. but nokia and motorola -simply nothing.. flagship for 2018 year missing ,also Meizu or ZTE-only renders promises and fairytale articles about new powerful modern flagships ,but in reality-nothing..
Where's the Z3 Force ?
I don't mind the chipset but 4gb ram is really cheap from them
And that 5G mod seems so huge
George, 02 Aug 2018There will probably be a Z3 Force at IFA. They have nothing to compete against the S9, iPhone ... moreApparently there won't be a Z3 Force. Motorola's official twitter account posted some comment saying there won't be any more Z3 versions... So i guess Motorola decided to hit the hammer on their own legs or something.
Whatever. Let's hope Motorola will get back to their senses next year when they launch their next flagship.
Geric.770, 03 Aug 2018Google is always chasing for patents and slaying dying companies. (RIP HTC)Hahahahahaha
Geric.770, 03 Aug 2018Hmm...
It's the reality. Lenovo killed Motorola's name when they finally give up on flip phones.Ohh really? that's why they sell millions of phones after they acquire it unlike google who is after the patents only.
Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018Ohh really? good for you and second whats the connection if Motorola is owned by Lenovo?Hmm...

Also, I'm no rich dude. I'm just an average person who loves to learn everything. So?

No IP rating (which Moto X-series do have), no SD845, small 4GB RAM, and the camera hardware is near to mid-range phones nowadays. What is Motorola doing right now?
veryangrynerd, 03 Aug 2018it is probably motorola who had the patent in US and why sony had to disable their sensors in ... moreI am sure this not the case lot of china brends have side fpr ...
The side fpr one of the uniq sony stuff and they chose to kill it :/ looks so way better than china style back fpr:/
barakat, 02 Aug 2018most disappointing phone ever .... it looks like motorola decided to kill the moto z series That is exactly what Moto doing according to the article. This is the last Z series.
SZTadir, 02 Aug 2018So, Motorola Z3 Play was 500$, but Z3 (the flagship) is 480$??!! The pricing is not clear t... moreIt just that factories that making those flagship chipsets will discontinue making them and start making new latest chipsets. Thats why old flagship chipsets usually never appear after a year. Have to do with lack of factories and one factory usually focus on one fabrication process. Making 10nm or 7nm and so on. In with the new, out with the old.
