Qin featurephones are trying to be next Apple iFeature (sarcasm) wannabe due to no headphone jack from iPhone 7 onwards. These phones are trying to target Apple and Mi Series users who are used to not having the headphone jack, provided they need it as a backup. Xiaomi, if you have the conscience, please don't encourage other brands like Nokia to drop the headphone jack on Nokia's future feature phones.

very few 'real' people i've met have had a good long-term experience with Xiaomi and absolutely nobody i know has had a good experience with Redmi Note 4.

I have been using my Redmi note 4 Snapdragon for over year now with no single issue. The battery is still holding up great, I still get averagely 7 hrs of screen on-time on heavy usage.
LTE and WIFI HOTSPOT functions are a must for the feature phones today.
Whooh.. finally there is a featurephone
Sounds like they going after Nokia..

Why is everyone complaining about the headphone jack. C'mon the sound on any other feature phone is horrible, why would You even listen to it. Same with the camera. No one uses a 2 MP camera on a feature phone... It's meant to be cheap and durable device that You can call people on... actually what a phone is.
It have 4G radio to advertise. No headphone jack ironically. Have USB C and you need a dongle if you want to use earphone. Lets just say feature phone is truly dumbphone.
Do this with a version of the Mi MIX line, add battery size instead of the cameras, and you have yourself a buyer here.
Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018Is there anything similar to this phone, but with a headphone jack? You'd have to check available Nokia feature phones in your region (international link is https://www.nokia.com/en_int/phones/all-phones). However, they're more expensive (no surprises), and Xiaomi appears to have a winner on their hands as the value proposition is impressive. Why they had to remove the headphone jack beats me.
The only thing one would have to worry about is repairability. Nokia feature phones are extremely reliable and have two decades worth of customer satisfaction to ride on. Xiaomi smartphones are not known to have such reliability, so I don't expect it to be much different with these feature phones.
