The reason that ios is so fast is that the ipohne and its os are optimized and built for each other.Also it has half the customization and options as Android.If google made a phone just for android took out tons of options and made it a closed system it would be ios.

i have owned both the iphone 4 and SGS2.
There is NO WAY the iphone 4 is 52000 and the SGS2 55000.
The SGS2 is noticeably quicker in all aspects.
Doing side by side tests opening web page on wifi the SGS2 was 30-40% faster opening pages.

Let me tell that ya Samsung manufactures but Apple does not simply implement it in their device... Admitted if iPhones fall it may break but that is why cases are for... We iPhone users get the best accessories for our iProducts whereas I dont think you can even think of it for S2...

Manufacturing all the components but can't get their head out of their ass to put them together right to make them look beautiful and function as efficient as the iPhone. Its like laying down the dots but can't connect them.

body quality is the same, metal or plastic or glass, drop it from 5 feet and it will broke.. if not the body, the hardware inside..
I'll wait for GSMArena's full review before deciding will I bash 4s or not.. :p

I see that a lot of Apple's fans and Android's fans have misunderstood the benchmark. The benchmark perform is only for the browser. That is why it is called "Browser benchmark". I would say iPhone have a good result because of Safari browser that is doing so well in dealing with javascript, while browser in most Android aren't. Even then, it is hard to compare the result since all phones does not use the same browser, so result will surely inconsistent. So, in term of general performance such as running apps, doing multitask and etc, still unknown yet for iPhone 4s. And it is safe to say SGS 2 still leads the way. The result shown did not states the whole performance of iPhone 4S, but just the power of its browser, especially the efficiency of Safari browser in iOS5. But when you look again, the first benchmark, Galaxy Tab with their Android 3.1 get almost the same result as iPhone 4s, while in second benchmark, Galaxy Tab have slight better advantage than iPhone 4S. So this also tells that current Android 2.3.3 use in SGS 2 still doesn't use dual-core efficiently yet, but in next update, expect better result from SGS 2 when they able to fully use the power of dual-core processor, like what Android 3.1 (Honeycomb if i'm not mistaken) already done. Their readers, please reads carefully before putting your comments or making your decision.

Like i said before, samsung fans are new applefans, very annoying people. Why they just can't love their phone and stop talking shit every apple topic? i'm not sure if apple users are talking sgs2 topics too because i really don't care. I let them use their galaxy s2 phones, but why they cant let us to use our iPhones?
Both phones have good and bad things. For me iPhone win by far.

what are you bragging about? Customers are the winners in this competitions. apple releases their very best every time. other company releases more models, but not their best. You have to pick up features on their models but you cant have one that have it all.
I think that this is the feature of iphone, users are very much satisfied.
i used apple product but i dont have iphone, i got n8 because of its camera, crappy os.

I personally think that only the first iPhone was truly innovative and the rest of the iPhone releases have just been disappointing... The limitations of the iOS and the lack of customization have kept me away from the iPhone (except the first one, I bought it and loved it)...
But I have to admit, these results are remarkable... Shows the real strength of Apple is software and its optimization! However, the lack of customization and the small screen will still keep me away from this latest release... Maybe iPhone 5 will change my mind in the future though! Just have to wait and see...

[deleted post]I'm not sure what android phone you have been using friend, but your statement is simply not true. I might be wrong but from what you've written I'm guessing that you have not used an android phone for an extended period of time.
