Its just a transition technology to Micro LED. Mini LED is a much easier solution with lower technical barrier. So, yeah. LCD will eventually phased out.

Most of the people just read the current page that's why I have to bring the links up.
Most of the hater don't want more people knowing the useful information, they will make more reply to cover it, although their reply don't looks like spamming but mostly the same purpose.

moerutoukon, 03 Aug 2018Sharp's technical capabilities already surpass JDI Corporation.Sharp's failure is due to its stupid administration instead of technology. JDI is a government backed company to avoid failure of Sony and Toshiba's display business. JDI has never been a good company and won't. The reason is every simple: it is comprised of bad parties: Sony, Toshiba, and the bureaucratic Japanese officials.

S Yu, 04 Aug 2018So do you know where Sony sources its Trimaster-EL panels from? The Organic El or the EL OLED is something JDI made meaning the 3 ventures of JDI combined their resources of the OLED which they themselves made it.
So they combined from their divisions and brought in on company. Also, the same thing happened for JOLED, which Sony and Panasonic combined their OLED divisions and made JOLED with another investors like INCJ
