This is how you update features in your devices. Now we wait to see how long it takes them to push Android P update. As things stand right now it seems Asus is finally getting serious about it's mobile device business which is nice. As a die hard Asus pc components fan I'm gonna hold my breath for this. I know they can be a major player on the smartphone market if they choose to. They are the king of motherboards and aftermarket GPUs after all.

Other Zenfones have got updates this days as well:
Zenfone 5 (ZE620KL) has got an update on same day as well,
Zenfone 5 Lite (ZC600KL) (= 5Q in ASIA, America)
has got some more VoLTE coverage added and Sec.Patch just yesterday.

ASUS rolled out over 20 updates in last two months only for 5 series phones.

AnonD-762314, 03 Aug 2018A retaliation to all of those bashing Asus's post-sale care recently? Actually, from personal experience, Asus has a very good after sale and repair service. Even in Syria, they have some of the fastest service centers.
And if you take a look at the Asus site, most phones have a long list of updates (support>firmware) and Asus allows you to download firmware and install it manually without special programs on PC, which is imo better than using "companions" which take up space and waste time.

This is one of the best S500 phones in the market right now. Right in line with the OP6 & VIVO NEX. It deserves more recognition & sales! :)
