The freebies are all bonus or appreciation gifts for buying the Note9! NOT the driving factor of the price! I can't believe many people can't (or won't) understand this.

This is competition, so I wonder why companies even have to copy each other in the first place, as it makes absolutely no sense.
"You are competing by using others' ideas" is such a disgusting sentence to hear, but I guess this is how it is now.
I'd rather have no freebie with lower phone price, especially since some people like me are just interested into the phone and don't care about the other stuff even if given for free.
It's a matter of choice. What if I only have $850 to buy the Note 9, which is the price of the phone without any freebie??

So many comments.. No samsung users... All Samsung galaxy s and note devices get in game currency or goodies depending on the game, you have to download from galaxy app store instead of playstore(for example vainglory) .. I think this also settles the doubt of the person who was questioning whether Samsung will allow installs from unknown sources

Wow. So much negative comments on something that's given for free. You guys are mad at Samsung for giving 15000 V- bucks for free for Galaxy Note 9 users? How will that effect you in any way? An XDA data-miner found this info in Epic's own website, so this probably means that the free V-buck are just one of the many selective deal, as in, if you're not interested in Fortnite, you can pick up a wireless charger/ microSD card/ DeX/ wireless AKG earphones/ and others for free.
And another thing, you guys wanted Samsung to decrease their Note9's price by not giving free stuff? As in, if users don't want free V-buck, Samsung can reduce the price of the Note9 to $800? LOL. Tell me, what company ever did such a thing??? What smartphone company says "Ohhh you don't want $200 worth of free stuff? Well we will reduce $200 off your phone then"? No company ever did this, so don't act as if it is illegal for Samsung in doing so.

I myself consider this offer is stupid. Pre-order a Note 9 with 15,000 worthless in-game money that doesn't actually get you stuffs. I mean aren't the prices are bad enough ($1,265.90 in Vietnam for the 256GB version)?

Let's say they really want to push Fortnite into Android, why not just give us some good game controllers instead?? At least it's something that players would actually use for a long period of time, instead of virtual bucks that would only be good for a few weeks

Useless. Shooters are played with keyboard and mouse! Anyway, it's Samsung, so not worth a penny. Samsung or Apple, same crap. Manufactured in China and with Chinese components.

this is actually a rubbish deal, hopefully they come with other deals, as big as fortnite seems to have grown, i dont think that many note users would like such a deal, virtual coins on a silly game that will get bored with after a few days
