The only negative is the battery. On 4g it' may over in 6-8 hrs . So what will the v40 add. An oled screen, a larger pixel camera. Slow motion, a developed AI, better low light photos, a larger battery. Now that looks somewhat better.but a delayed launch and people will wait for the new snapdragon on S10

software update is no everything . sony provide software update but what is the use if they are not optimise as per customer requirement and the hardware is also important in audio section no mobile in history touch the audio quality what LG provide in there high end phone. the audio is comparing costly audio players. that is the BEST achievement atleast for audiophile people

First, it launched too late, shud have been same as oneplus 6, all those have now brought oneplus 6 , as there was no compelling option. U just cannot have a silent launch and expect the people to lap it. There has to be clear shouting from towers and quick launch. Even lg V 30 was a late launch. Anybody on this forum knows how to launch a phone like this, at less than 40k, but lg is poor in that ..hope so consider india more in lg v40 with 45k and early launch

Based on my experience LG G6 lags very badly with my use. I would prefer you guys to buy oneplus 6. With LG you will be disappointed with software updates and speed for sure.
Btw, LG G6 still didn't get Oreo update in India. Whereas oneplus got there phone running Android P Beta already.

I think, for a top tier brand, pricing is really good. They have finally got back to senses. Well done LG. I was really expecting this around 45k but Rs.39,990 is really good!.

sayan95, 06 Aug 2018priced at rs 39990 it is an absolute steal he'll it beats OnePlus 6 in every aspect Not every aspect. For one One Plus has much better software support and I would choose an good OLED screen anyday over an LCD screen even the one as good as the G7. Plus dash charging is awesome !

But yeah LG has priced it really well in India and audio quality on LG is tops along with IP68 rating.

Price is perfect for this if you see the features it offers. Much better than One Plus 6 in every aspect. Can't say about SU though.

Though 45-48k is a steal for the device, but the market right now is such that people are willing to pay higher than the OP6 price only for Samsung and Apple, maybe even Google or Huawei, but not for LG.
They need to market it properly AND price it around 45k just to make a few units move
