"10-4 good buddy" I really want to believe Google chose October 4th because of the "10/4" meaning here in the US, which means "affirmative" or "I understand" for law enforcement and truckers in the past.
In any case, the phones will probably be pretty much the same as last years, except the regular Pixel 3 will have less bezel, that's most likely the only real improvement. The Pixel 3 XL looks so much worse than the current Pixel 2 XL with that fat notch. I don't know what they were thinking. So stupid! So ugly! Why?
I'm a Pixel 2 owner and happy with it. Screen is much better than 2 XL. I'll probably upgrade to the Pixel 3 even though it's not much of an upgrade. Loving the software experience and the camera.

I think Pixel 3 will be a poor purchase decision because:
- (from rumors) It has only 4GB of RAM and it starts to be to low
- (from rumors) Soon there will be the big jump to 7nm manufacturing process, so you are basically buying the Snapdragon 845 right before the big jump - as with the RAM, will get obsolete or comparatively slow almost as soon as you buy it.

You'd have to be a real camera junkie to even consider the Pixel 3 XL anymore. It is the most hideous phone made to date & I'm not even exaggerating yet. Other than the camera, there's no reason to even consider a Pixel anymore as there are plenty of alternatives available these days.

Canada is a big chunk of Google's hardware sale. They desperately want to capitalize on that with local influencers.
Tisk tisk Google. Just make good hardware and you won't need to fool people on to buy your stuff.
