Very boring my friend very boring!! We just got the SG2 in the US and very soon the prime an... moreFirst of all ,let's get a thing or two straightened out ...
1.Galaxy series =/= Nexus series ,one is Samsung's OWN series ,one is Google's OWN series !
2.Samsung Galaxy S2 just arrived into the US because of the stupid idiotic rules you have in the US ,NOT because of Samsung [we Europeans get along nicer with Samsung,HTC,RIM,Nokia]
3.You just got punked ! Write 1000x "I will never tell BULL to my fellow forumers" !
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2011Samsung is a criminal company and is accused by an ex-employee as being one of the most corrup... moreIf you put it this way ,how do i know you don't bash Samsung because you are paid by someone else ??
Like "joonius" said before ,you love ANY company for the product it gives you ,or ARE YOU IN LOVE with the company itself ?
That my friend is a BIG [BIG] difference ,think of it when you go to bed !
ALL new fones are boring the companys just bring out a screen and thats it.They dont have a design team to bring out a boring slab...Until they get back to clamshells like some of the gorgeous Japanese models ALL new fones are boring slabs..
Its great this phase for maufacturers because they dont have to do anything in design. Maybe change the volume buttons a little to make it look different thats it.Boring,boring,boring.
AnonD-5197, 12 Oct 2011It's not strange because it's obvious when you compare the products side by side. I use a Sams... moreCertainly. A very reasonable response I might add. You are somebody, that anybody would be able to talk to, even in disagreement. I like iPhone the same way you like your Samsung phone.
UNfortunately, the internet has given birth to the ugly phenomenon of fanboys and trolls, (Apple included). These are annoying to everyone. Sometimes, things need to be pointed out that balances the equation, because fanboyism can be taken too far.
in general tho, I enjoy tech, and use what's best for me, it seems you do too, which is great.
Motorola Spyder and Xoom 2 appear again in new images
Noted also is the info that the Spyder actually has a 1.5GHz processor but when it arrives in consumers hands it'll only be clocked at 1.2GHz -- nothing new but still interesting. Also, the back of the device is said to be kevlar coating, though I'm sure it won't be stopping bullets any time soon. More shots can be found past the break for you all.
The Xoom 2 hasn't changed all that much since we last saw it, though it is noted that these devices are as close to final form as can be. Looking at the Spyder though, we can see Verizon logos all over the thing, leaving no doubt about where it will drop.

I use a Samsung phone because it's great, not because I like Samsung. Why should I like Samsung? Do you love Apple?
How does all those scandals affect the final products anyway? How does Foxconn related incidents affect products of Apple?
You can't argue with technology on a technology forum?
Samsung is a criminal company and is accused by an ex-employee as being one of the most corrupt companies in Asia.
Funnily enough, the chairman was charged with corruption, and also financial scandal, but they are too powerful, so he was not jailed. You know what he did? He just came back, and said "Ah, I want to be chairman again" So there he is, your beloved Lee Kun Hee.
He then goes on and says Samsung's biggest problem is? Corruption:
LOL what a company. In the mean time, be careful about who's comments you read here or elsewhere, they could be paid by Samsung!
Makes you wonder right? Isn't it strange that you don't find many HTC, Motorola or Sony Ericsson crazy fanboys? Cos they don't need to pay fans, like Samsung does.
The gall for Samsung to have a large mobile division that can design/manufacture more than 1 phone at the same time! How dare they make phones of all dimensions and specs! Customers should be treated like little kids! Big Brother Apple knows best!
Experience apparently knows more than the bulk of the critics that found Samsung products to be excellent, nevermind the millions of satisfied customers!
You know, if I am buying stocks, I am buying Samsung before Apple. Unlike Apple, they are actually really proficient and dominate a large part of the stuff that makes gadgets (screens, chips, batteries, etc). You're really paying Samsung quite a bit of money for every iProduct you buy. The only edge Apple has is on the software front, and we know how quickly that advantage can erode.
[deleted post]"For god sake if you don't like iphone and believe it's an overrated product then just keep away from their news."
Experience, you're starting to sound hypocritical. You want Apple haters to stay away from Apple threads, yet you keep on visiting theirs.
Some people actually want less choices, really?
As long as they can continue to release quality phones (and these are quality phones) I don't see the problem the Android manufacturers continue to bring out new phones every month or so.
It's called competition (which brings price down and increase tech innovation) and choices (the lynch pin to liberal democracy) for the consumer. The only people that hates these things are those that gets phones for bragging rights.
Guess what, if you have the excellent Galaxy SII, there's no reason for you to upgrade at all. It's a fine phone that does everything you really want it to do. Just because it'll be eventually eclipsed as the best Android phone doesn't mean it won't last you a good deal of time.
I know people that are still rocking the Hero or the 3GS, because frankly they think they still do everything they need phones to do. Not everyone are power users.
Can't wait for this phone. Will buy it immediately.
BTW - what's going on with all the spelling errors? Do you not have spell-check?
