Their gestures is so bad... They should have added a forward button. The only part of iPhone gestures that needed changing was the recent apps gesture. Miui gestures is the best android implementation so far.

I'll just wait for the final product before I spit out my judgement about this feature.

Hate gestures, horrible decision. Will make it harder for older people to use the phone. ANd why get rid of the multitasking button? I always use it and most people I am around use it too.

Horrible horrible decision. Google have a habit of shoving down crap down their users throat(google amp for example) and this is exactly what they are doing with this change. Not providing any option to the user. They always know whats best.

Aspros, 07 Aug 2018Noooooo! Google, will you stop copying Apple? Why do ppl prefer Android in the first place? ... morehadly 1/2% people use multiple window at the same time for just testing for 3/4 times in a year may be.

So Toogle is basically saying a big F U to all those who live in actual wknter climates and actually have to use gloves. Gestures work like crap with them. Buttons are much better, even decent capacitive areas.

Ah well, another phone off the list.

Manufacturers just keep removing stuff (removable battery, 3.5mm jack, sdcard slot, buttons, bootloader unlock).

Pretty soon the only thing you can do on your phone is watch presanctioned youtube and scroll instagram and facebook with your gaze....

I don't know if the gesture navigation is good or bad, I'll have to try it myself. But honestly software buttons are cancer, we should celebrate finally getting rid of them. I can't imagine anything worse.

They are maoing split screen a pain in the arse as well. Yep. Someone has to think about the people who do not have enough mental capacity to use more than 2 or 3 apps at the same time.

I guess this kinda solves the burn in that happens on the nav buttons but really they could have just given us an option to make it invisible instead of this stupid gesture feature. I rarely use gestures in apps that have them so I doubt I'd enjoy using this.

I have a Moto G5s plus and I love how this one button navigation on the fingerprint sensor replaces the on screen navbar. (Swipe left: back. Tap: home. Swipe right: recent apps. Swipe right twice: quick switch. Tap and hold: Google Assistant)
