AnonD-20221, 12 Oct 2011Well I must say you are getting Android-blind mate... Many tech blogs have accepted that Siri ... moreI did each command from the video clip on my daughter's myTouch 4G and all resulted in the same results as the iPhone 4S with SIRI, except one. Not bad for 1+ year old technology using her T-Mobile 'Genius' button. I did not activate the 'driving mode', so I do not know how the text-to-speech functions.

I'm very very very impressed with that software, even though I find it very unlikely that anyone except the disabled or business executives will actually use it regularly.

AnonD-20221, 12 Oct 2011Mate I dont think Nokia is working on its own version of Siri for Belle for now... I dont know... moreSiri is pretty impressive for a version 1. It's almost like an AI and maybe it is. This is going to be huge and I can imagine people using this feature far more often video calling. I was impressed by its smarts and you can ask Siri anything even mathematical equations. Apple isn't known for cutting edge hardware but they're damn good when it comes to software and that's where they shine. Apple impressed me with iOS 5 and this is coming from a staunch Nokia fan.

It works fine with American and British accents. That's good, especially the latter. But what about other accents? Say, for example, Spanish, Italian, Singaporean, Indian, Middle Eastern, etc.? How well will it handle those? Guess I'd have to wait for a proper review, but I'm really eager to know.

Not like vilingo is 12 months old, sure took them a while to rip it off

This is just amazing, one worthy app for the iPhone and useful too.

Don't get me wrong but I didn't find anything alike for any other OS. People will enjoy this in the 4S, I have a really use for this one when I'm driving, cycling or spinning. I really use voice recognition in many circumstances.

Really every time I'm more convinced to get one 4S just for the sensation of use it. Maybe isn't big deal but for now look like a very promising advantage over my oldie 3GS since the iPhone 4 doesn't fill my needs....lets see.

iHeaters will be red of envy :P

AnonD-25948, 12 Oct 2011to be honest guys siri does look awesome and i own a galaxy s2 but the only reason why i wil... moreYes you do.

On the SG2 you have to press the home button TWICE to get the voice menu.

The Samsung astroturfers are getting worse with their blatant lies, just because the iPhone 4S smashes the Galaxy 2 in performance.

SIRI can also work using the GPS, so if you set a reminder to buy milk it comes up when you get to the shopping centre, or if you wanted to call your wife after work, the reminder comes when you leave the office.

Siri good or bad not really sure at the moment but definately like to check it once the phone is in my hands.
Another thing about Siri it will be supporting mutiple languages which is on its way and the Voice recognition system is 2 generations ahead of any voice recognition that the others have.

Voice command using my BB always gave me different names when asking the BB to make a call. How about the 4s voice recognition ?. Is it compatible with those non US or British accent?.
