though they are good enough.
but don't know why they're ruining themselves.
may be they have decided to shut down their business Or they need a good leadership

Really I don't get why everyone says HTC lost all its talent with the Pixel team; the HTC-made Pixels weren't exactly revolutionary designs. HTC's problems have always been at the top, with or without the Pixel team imo.
Anonymous, 08 Aug 2018And finally, Android = Chinese phones. (I don't argue that iPhone also Made in China too.)So what?? I regularly buy Chinese phones. Love Xiaomi especially, currently using their Mi Mix 2 - great phone, no complaints. My next phone will be another Xiaomi - best quality and value for money out there. Apple/Samsung/Sony - rip-off prices, poor value for money.
HTC, it's not 2014 so you are not in the rise... Provide phones at the low prices with decent specs if you want to come back otherwise Good bye...
Denis Thomas, 08 Aug 2018That's sad, but after removing the headphone jack? ExpectedOh yeah, because HTC was doing so great before they removed that 3.5 mm port. With or without the port, nothing changed for HTC.
And look at Apple. Removed the 3.5 mm port, and down the drain they went! Wh... what's that? A trillion dollars? Oh.
I was really considering getting the HTC U12+. Love the design, look etc. Waited months for it. Then I was told that no Telco Provider's will be supporting it. Can only buy the phone directly from the HTC website... Would never spend that much on a phone online with you can't even see what it looks like in person.

to be fair, they only released the U12+ at the start of Q3 - so let's see.
The scary thing is, it would have been easier to make a decent phone, that would have sold, than the shambolic U12+. All they needed to do, was slap an OLED screen on the u11+, and add wireless charging. They had a good sized battery, great headphones, mature, albeit dated, software, great cameras. Let's face it, they got camera and battery right on the U11+, o Ly thing missing was a decent screen.
If Samsung continues to ignore Consumers comments and not listen to their customers, they will be the next to go down along with Sony and LG.
They should've shut down 2 or 3 yrs ago... senselessly loosing billions for no reason... and hiw cann such company be so optimistic and launch flagships?
HTC can't seem to learn, keep making ridiculously expensive phones that nobody wants. Who wants their expensive phones when there are so many Chinese phones from just across the water that are just as good at half the price??
Denis Thomas, 08 Aug 2018That's sad, but after removing the headphone jack? ExpectedAgree with you here =D
I don't understand why they kept digging their own grave for all these years. It was obvious to almost everyone that their strategy didn't work.
This is what happens to HTC which removes the headphone jack and prices the low-to-mid tier phones too high for average specs.
Looks like this is the end for mobile division. Don't really know how CEO operates in some companies but they are dumb or are stringed by idiot board full of arrogance or egocentrisim. It is really not that hard to sell HTC phones for competing Chinese company prices like Xiaomi or others. If they think their pride is not letting to go in same price ball park with Chinese brands and if they still think HTC is still premium player they all deserve to fail, there is no cure for stupudity

What's surprising about this? Nothing.
