I don't care about an IP rating as I still need to use a rugged case (boy, oh boy, why don't they make a transparent rugged case?). A dedicated microSD slot is extremely rare for a flagship now; so, I would take the hybrid dual SIM slot with a grain of salt. The only thing is whether they would be releasing it in India, and whether support may be available. And, little is known about the Meizu OS (skin) performance.

Afair some leak mentioned no MicroSD, no idea about IP rating.
I would be fine with the 3000mAh on smaller version - I've got a habit of charging the phone daily anyway, and compactness is a plus.

No mention of stereo speakers, no micro sd slot and no IP rating. Downright poor battery on regular 16, makes the plus version the more appealing of the two, especially with an incredible screen to body ratio without any notches and gimmicky slide mechanisms. For the price, the plus version is a very good proposition. The regular one is just not worth it, all because of meager battery capacity.

Why always say super amoled? Because Super AMOLED is a type of AMOLED display with integrated touchscreen and with air removed between those two (display and touchscreen)?
The screen on Meizu comes from Samsung, not BOE.
