I'm shocked that a billion dollar company like Google still can't get the design right. The first gen was criticised, the second gen was better but still not great compared with the competition and this one is even uglier! Samsung and Apple must be pleased.

The designer needs to be fired. What a seriously bad looking phone. I am not I would want one even if it were free. Maybe with a case that makeups for the design design

Why do they like to put a notch on top of the screen? It makes the phone ugly at all. LG, some Huawei models do the same at all and so far Pixel notch is the ugliest!

I was hoping to buy the next pixel but not anymore because of that huge & ugly notch! I mean even if we hide that notch with the s/w it still appears to be taller than the lower chin!

I am not against the notch if they're done right. For example, OP6 is quite small, and probably about right in terms of size - any bigger the notch begins to become noticeable in daily use.
But this whilst narrow is so tall!
It is like they've taken the now-sizeable Pixel 2 XL bezels and just cut around the camera and speaker with zero attempt to slim down either the notch or the chin - the chin is also way bigger than the rest of the market.
