Even so, it may be a big enough mobile phone market, does not make it a big enough smart phone market. Provided that the phone in hand is going to be available at a premium price or a subscription contract, the market would be comparatively smaller in the Asian region as opposed to the EU or the Americas.

I have read many reviews of Mango update and it rather seems quite good to me.. If the combination of Nokia-Microsoft really succeeds many people here will be eating their own words...

Why is everybody so eager to write off the Nokia and Microsoft marriage? Mind you, they've just come together and are about to have their first baby. Maybe it will work out for them, maybe it won't; it's too early to tell. I, for one, want this relationship to succeed, because 1) I like the WP7 UI, which is completely different from what's out there on the market, 2) Nokias have always performed exceptionally well when it comes to reception and in-call quality, and 3) I'd like to see other OSes competing with Android and Apple, which would give a wider range of choices to the consumer.
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2011its going to flop, it worse than nokia n9Seriously, nothing can be worse than the N9
so unthoughtful and unkind on Nokia,s part to exclude India from first wave launch, if they knew it, we are the most ardent mobile lovers in the world. down with nokia. lets promote cos who can think India first.!

WP 7 vs Android ... is running on the relatively same speed. You think that's equal? No, The Android already use dual cores, WP 7 ONLY USE single core. And they still relatively equal in term of OS speed. So who is the sluggish one?
in touch mobile options first u try the HTC mobile then u try others then u will see the performance you will forget all mobiles except HTC .....?
I will surely buy this mobile.. Personally I like windows Phone 7.5.. I hope this platform will rapidly emerge and will satisfy all the needs one who can expect from a mobile.. The design, build quality and the UI are really perfect.. I like this mobile very much waiting for its arrival in India.. cheers!!!
great movement. Nice phone and cool home screen.
Anonymous, 12 Oct 2011Why nokia and google can't be partners?Google don't want Nokia to use Nokia Maps and Nokia don't like Android Store....too much problems between them...
I don't think I'd care what OS it's running on, as long as it can do everything the N8 can do, and do it better.
Haven't found a perfect phone yet, but so far my N8 ticks the most boxes.

Why can't u just buy the androids that are so many in the market already. It is good to see Nokia using WP OS, something different. What a boring mobile market it will be if all phones use android. Lucky for us, we still have Nokia and Apple, so we still have a variety of choices, if not, all phones will be a droid...so lame and boring..hmmm
