Anonymous, 09 Aug 2018Boring Phone,.It should be Around 500$, not moreYea right ... $500 ...

Even Chinese Phones without the pen are selling for $500 .. you want the pen , Stereo speakers , and elegant design , for the same price of cheap Chinese phones that have the same CPU and memory ?

I just give the old ones to the kids ...

as for Burn eyes , I agree that the AMOLED is harder on the Eyes . IPS is easier. because AMOLED brightness is much much higher. but anyways the IPS now also has alot of brightness , they will hurt your eyes the same , They added HDR mode now and HDR needs alot of nits

Use one for 2 years and let us know then.
I have experienced burn-ins on the S3.
All I have to say is that after a few hours of using an AMOLED display my eyes are the ones which burn. Strange, this never happened on IPS LCD displays.

SNA1970, 09 Aug 2018 I am using Samsung Note 4 , note FE and note 8 and there is no lag in any of themYour eyes:( Time to get a Cataract operation done ASAP. Hurry, before its too late. There will be no U-Turn once Fanboyism kicks in:). My earlier phone was a Note 8. It didn't lag, but certainly slowed down after 9 months. Its not huge, but noticeable. Using the S9 plus now- its not laggy or such, but I will not be surprised if it slowly starts to slow down and then starts to lag thereafter in months.

There is no fix . this is how AMOLED is . if you dont like it switch to IPS .

having said that ,

It is your fault . put the standby after one minute and the brightness to Auto it will never Burn in.

I used S2, S3 , S4 , S5 , S8 , Note 3 , note 5 , note FE , note 8 ... and guess what ? All never had burn ins.

Metallic copper is nice. How about emerald green just like s6 edge. It's georgeous and rare too.

Good phone, a little over what needs to be standard at the end of 2018.
Competition is getting stronger, it will be interesting in 2019.
Note 9 is a bit too expensive, it will be understood by Samsung when the competition comes.
