Tried Note9, and its a very big phone... S8/S9 is the sweet spot. Price in Lithuania for 6gb/128gb is 1009€

Last time I checked note8+ didn't have a 4k screen, proper stereo speakers, camera that sees in pitch black areas, ip65 and 68 certification, full HD 960fps and 4k hdr recording and stabilisation that's always ahead of the competition, even without proper optical stabilisation.
So why would we go with note8+? Ooooh I know.., it has a Bluetooth pen! Revolution that shakes the industry..
