On the other hand, how it fares will depend on its power, if it's ~80W RMS it should be pretty competitive.

With what happened to ZTE, companies should have realized it by now that they've relay to the American companies and their technology way too much to a point where they can be ruined if they can no longer do business with them because of their government.

Back then, I've always thought of it as waste of resources ( Tizen, Bixby ) as every OEM are using Android, and Google are trying to provide everything that there is that they can came up with.
But, after what the US did to ZTE, and even rumor of Google not gonna let it use the OS for their phones.
That which I've come to realize that Samsung are actually thinking ahead and also try prevents something like that would have happens to them.

While most every OEM trying to incorporate with Go... moreBecause samsung knows, Google freebies wont stay that way forever. Once google said the will not distribute Android to OEM anymore, they will be doomed.
Samsung has prepared this with Tizen, Bixby, their store.

While most every OEM trying to incorporate with Google assistant and put it in everything that connect to the internet! ( Even Sony, the always late to party and trying catch up guy are now doing it).
And then there's Samsung, doing what feels like Amazon ( competing with Google instead under its wing).
