If they will sell at lower prices, no one will buy xiaomi in India. Nokia's profit will shoot up to the sky. But Nokia doesn't want that. Going by this, they will price X6 at 20k which will fail so miserably that that they will pack their bags just like HTC did and SONY and LG is going to do.

Arvind7955, 10 Aug 2018Nokia lost their mind. Such overpriced crap. It's because Nokia wants to make more money. See, HMD is a small company of Nokia that's has lesser money than the original Nokia, which is the network company of making 3G, 4G and 5G. Thus, HMD has to go for premium pricing so that they could earn money.

I'm more than a little surprised they went with Android Go for their Nokia 2.1, given how they skipped Android Go for their less powerful Nokia 2 last year. It's definitely a change for the better.

It's a crime that they use micro-USB for these low-end devices. Everything else seems fine though.

Why would I buy the Nokia 5.1 with such a poor processor for 14500 when I am currently getting the Nokia 6.1 (4,64 model) for exactly same price using SBI cards on Amazon! (6.1 user)

I assume, all these phones are 'Made in India' so HMD can't escape with an excuse like Exchange rate, higher Import & customs duties etc. Then why these handsets are so costly? No doubt, all the handsets are costlier by 2-3K. We have enough handsets available in this price range with better specifications, of course, from Chinese brands. Do HMD seriously want to sell the handsets at this price in India? Gone are those days when people used to pay more just for brand name. Wake up HMD!
