I will wait for the Samsung Galaxy S10+ with 8 GB RAM and 4000 mAh battery!
Let's get this straight: you WILL only buy this phone if you really need it. The price is stratospheric, yes, but isn't the "made for professionals" iPhone X also guilty of it, yet it managed to sell by the truckloads? I have known a lot of individuals who has Galaxy Notes that uses the stylus as their daily driver; my cousin is an architect/graphic artist, and she enjoys her Note very well. There are also professionals who jot down notes every time, signs digital files, and even sketches doodles. No iPhone can do that. This device clearly has a market that might not exactly be for you or me, so there's no point in degrading it just because it costs so much.
Zenodroid, 12 Aug 2018Finally another who see that Samsung has lost it. I agree. A 6.5 inch 16:9 would be perfect. I loved the Mi Max but it gets crap for signal now that T-Mobile dropped 3 g support outside of 2,4, and 12 LTE bands.
Screen should have been bigger. That is the whole point of the note to begin with. Even the Pixel 3 xl as ugly as it is will at least have a bigger screen.
I'm still quite happy with my S8+. I just can't justify spending 1000 euros + accesories every year for some minor improvements.
Melissakis, 12 Aug 2018I'd vote for another option, "I won't buy it, the Notes have lost their original character". ... moreTrue all latest Samsung phones are too narrow and too tall. I don't like the aspect ratio. My last loveable Samsung was Galaxy Mega 6.3.
Although the 8gb varient is mostly to support the theoretical 1tb storage, i would have liked the 128gb model also to have 8gb ram.. Because the upgrade program for my note 8 looks reasonable for the 128gb version.. Not so much for the 512gb one.. Since i regularly use the s pen for work its something i would prefer over a regular galaxy s phone or any other flagship
Melissakis, 12 Aug 2018Just wait for the Pixel 3!Yeah, that will be a cluster fudge of a sales disaster. "You don't want a Notch? We didn't hear you and put the mother of all notches on this!"
Google has lost the plot completely. Android 9 is a terrible, poorly optimised update.
H-1, 12 Aug 2018for the most controversial device of 2018, note 9 takes first placeJust wait for the Pixel 3!
I'd vote for another option, "I won't buy it, the Notes have lost their original character".
The Notes are not what they used to be. Note 4 is my all-time favorite device, but since then they got that edge screen, they became too tall and too narrow, they lost their removable battery. They are great phones, the S pen used to be really useful to me, but this they are not Notes anymore.
I will never buy a samsung phone or tablet ever again. I've been duped one to many times by lots and lots of hardware issues from their devices. Samsung devices are over rated. Right now, i fancy huawei or apple, though im still using a six-year-old samsung ultrabook S5.
ProJames, 12 Aug 2018Or you know: "I'm a die-hard hater and will do anything to taint their imageOr: someone is finally telling the truth, after escaping the mindless sheep herds. Samsung isn't what they was. And that's a fact. Ask any former Samsung sheep.
Urbexx, 12 Aug 2018in sex months will be released the S10, a beasting device, my s9+ works really well so i wait,... moreThe Note 9 is definitely better at maintaining performance than the S9+ on all the (p)reviews I've seen. What you've referring to is probably the Snapdragon 845 beating the Exynos on certain things like multicore graphics. That was the same (even bigger margin) for the S9+ Exynos vs S9+ Snapdragon.
Either way. You having a 5 months old phone means you're really not the target demographics for this. Unless you want the slightly better battery, cooling, pen and bigger screen.
in sex months will be released the S10, a beasting device, my s9+ works really well so i wait, and some sources says the Note9 Scores lees than the s9+
