I also love and use HTC phone since 15 year but now I Am using HTC u ultra with 8.0 have some issue's . I really disheartening .why HTC give no update Android 9 or 10 for HTC U Ultra.

A bit bad of them not to include the htc u ultra, it's a great phone for the money and it'll easily power android 9. Let's hope they can optimise the heck out of it, especially the htc u12+ because it's battery life is terrible considering its near stock android and its sizeable battery similar to the pixel 2 xl.

HTC promised oreo for u11 by the end of year 2017 but delivered in feb for europe with Nov.2017 security patch.
It is Aug.2018 and still stuck with Nov 2017 security patch.
Great updates HTC. Great schedule.

My Motorola G4 Play got android nougat update. But my friend's HTC Desire 828 that is more expensive never got any update. HTC is slowing down.

the reason why did not pick from an HTC model is exactly the software update.
No update no buy.
BTW i always loved the HTC... at least 5 years ago i did
