l have a bug-infested U11 straight out of the box. It cannot receive any firmware updates from this shameless bankrupt company that sells EXPENSIVE bricked devices like mine to unsuspecting public.

Still better than Samsung releasing a flagship after Android 9.0 running 8.1 . Maybe HTC U11 will get Android 9.0 before Note 9. LOL

We hope they consider to update the HTC U Ultra, HTC U Play and the HTC U11 EYEs specially, that phone was released in January 2018 after the HTC U11+.

The same time I bought my iPhone 7, someone else I know bought the HTC 10. Now after 2 years, he bought a OnePlus 6, while I'm still here happy with my iPhone which still feels like fresh out of the box with the newest software for the next couple of years. And iOS 12 gave it a good speed boost.

With project trelbe, I expect more phones to be getting updates. I guess it is just greed and planned obsolescence on the part of the OEMs that is hindering this.
