Lol at triple camera. I'll forgive samsung its cajolery if they keep the dual aperture in one of those cameras.

But why no stabilisation in 4k just plain stupid. To to answer the question no. I use 1080p 60FPS and looks just as sharp, And playing back on the screen looks awesome.

Also, 4K allows for a much more flexible editing experience since you have a lot to begin with it.
Sure 720p is still fine, but there's no doubt that better things do exist and they're needed in some other cases, so a flagship simply can't have terrible 4K video recording nowadays, and definitely not now when it no longer has any disadvantage.

But resolution could be dropped down to 12MP then retain the sensor size, or have that 16MP do pixel binning of up to 4MP in low light.

Is it worth recording something at 4K in a 6 inch phone when they take up ginormous amount of space? Don't you feel like it's just marketing gimmick? Smartphone have become competing in a 'specs' arms race, but is the point of a multiple lenses, if they can't compete with the qualify from a DSLR camera.
If the smartphones manufacturers (and their customers) are 'serious' about photography, they will have a cover on the camera lens. How many real cameras are sold without a lens cap? Zero!

Got to give credit to Huawei for incorporating AI and the triple camera setup. Looks like they will be the first to lunch a 5G ready phone as well by the looks of it. No wonder they past Apple in smartphone sales, I wonder how it didn't happen earlier. Samsung still has the best displays though and Qualcomm/Exynos processors are superior on paper for now. Huawei and Samsung are ahead of other brands in innovation and overall quality of the products. They are overall ahead of the curve where it most matters in Display, battery life and Camera.
