Do you know when Samsung was founded? Or how much or makes from displays and flash chips? It has existed before Android, and will exist after Android is gone

For me I Don’t download any app with adverts unless it is worth to use the app. If some app inappropriate user can report, I normally read the reviews at first. I aware some app is great but the reviews is bad.

Don't believe if sometimes you see something like "this app won't run unless you update/install google play services "notification. This is a lie and it's for make you angry and install that google spyware.I didn't find a single app that didn't run for play services execpt the google ones.
Also, apkmirror is safe enough I think. It's run by android police. You can trust them.

Just beware that many apps also require the Google Play Services framework to work (especially messaging apps), hence why going for LineageOS with microG is something really worth looking into. There are builds with everything ready to use straight from the microG project website.

Right now I have only 4 Google apks so I can use Play Store, but 95% of the time I have them hidden with a small script I wrote.
I tried Fdroid but it's a big mess with a lot of suspicious apps.
Please let me know coz I'm eager to finally delete gaaps from my phone.

Just imagine what if samsung, huawei, xiaoMi, lg etc start using another os and make another search engine default everywhere.... Google will die in 5 years.
This is fact.
The way google is behaving, it might happen.

Doesn't change the fact that OEM support is critical to keeping Lineage running stable for longer, which until now only happens properly with Google endorsed phones (Nexus, Pixel and Android One program). Plus, Lineage comes from AOSP, which is a code-base created and maintained mostly by Google -- enjoy your bitter-sweet relation with them.

I saw a lot of people like you whose only dream is "ANDROIDONE MADE BY SAMSUNG ... moreYou mean except the Mi A1 and new Mi A2 along the Mi A2 Lite; best sellers in Europe by the way. Still in Europe, a place where Huawei is at the top of the most sold devices, the first thing people do is install a custom launcher (such as Nova) -- you know, so that it looks like stock Android instead of freaking iOS.

The problem of samsung is their pricing.Their low ends have significantly bad hardware which starts lags very soon.Their midrange is too overpriced.Yes, they should not be priced like xiaoMi, but balanced enough.
And last of all, Samsung makes phone for masses, not for techies, so the "frequent update" you are talking about is not valid at all.But it will be good if they provide that.Samsung phones are way ahead from stock in terms of features, I see no reason for major update. They should solely work in frequent security updates. What important for general consumers are camera, lagless ui and aftersell services.Samsung provide them all (low ends hardware and ui isn't good enough though). The main problem is overpricing.
Of topic, I am not a samsung fanboy. But I hate Google because of their spying nature. I use lineage os and never flash gapps.I am having a great time after learning about flashing custom roms.Although, I miss some features like scrolling screenshot, dual apps, secure folder, theames etc.

They just get rid off factory which produces less from most, nothing special no warning about anything, cause they expended others in India and Taiwan. I guess this move it's just to save some cash
