At times we take a very complex view of things. Smartphones are supporsed to make life simple & barring a few geeks (may be 5-10% users), most people dont even end up using bulk of the functionality. An average Joe just needs a few basic apps to supplement his daily working and Windows 7 mango does that pretty well. The interface is quite intutive and not laggy like the android phones (user experience matters). Apps market is growing and is already having fairly decent apps to serve the purpose of an average user. While andriod may be a more sophisticated operating system, Win 7 is more convenient to use (same Linux/Window analogy). I think it has a potential to become a more mass market OS. After long time, i feel Nokia has a chance to fight back here with its Lumina line up of phones.

I think this phone won't be a windows phone, 'cause this phone have memory card support and as you see, Microsoft make rules that windows phone wont support memory card..

i think nokia will be top this year...i can feel it...u must trsut nokia has choosen coz they no that the os they choose is have the capacity to overcome the reigning android so nokia fans dont be sad coz wp7 will claim the king of oses..just give them tym to put all the needs of the phone dis os is most poweful than others....watch out androids wp7 is coming ur way....ehhehe

Look forward to more fragmentation later on tonight when you discover that ice cream sandwich won't run properly on some 90% of android handsets sold over the last year (due mostly to issues concerning hardware acceleration - yes, google have now fragmented GPU requirements).

... moreNokia N900 is the only phone running Maemo. Yes MeeGO and Maemo are based on Linux, but Maemo is developed by Nokia and MeeGo by Nokia and Intel. Claiming that stuff what you did is like claiming that Android is made by Java,when it's based on Java and developed by Google.

Nokia is dead and will file for bankruptcy in 2012. uncle i hope Nokia will live much more than your entire family tree combined i mean there ages and stop putting stress on your head coz Nokia alone is fighting with number of brands look at the ratio Samsung,SE,Motorola,HTC,LG,DELL,ZTE,Huawei,Sharp,Acer,Gigabyte,Micromax,Spice and endless list so many brands are using Android but still Nokia is Number one (don't bash about number one OS i'm talking about all round phones) you people are posting fake review and info just like Android you people are suffering from security issues

Nokia still tops the list. See the number of comments on every post related to Nokia! Nomatter some people post negative but still they are payin importance to it. I don see such a huge inflow of comments when ter is post about LG,BB Or other normal phone. But Nokia and apple tops it.
Pretty sure that nokia will again dominate with its windows and symbian belle smartphones. Now N9 is goin to be a big success for nokia.

wen nokia s^1 phones where attackes with a bluetooth worm no one could do nothing about it coz once it was in ur phone it straight away sent all u data, sent premium sms and sent itself to all ur contacts.. nokia had to refurbish all infected phones
