Folding tablet is way more convincing idea. But have to say this is just their first try and testing the water. Also to see the general public reaction. I bet they wont make many of these at all. The Galaxy Note Edge was made in limited quantity too back then.

Unless you the type of person that only check the budget segment of course it all look the same as years ago with ultra basic feature. Fridge has AI screen and IOTs now. Television too has gone smarter. And you probably missed out on advanced toilet like in Japan. Dont just look at your locality. The world is much bigger than you think.

use this flexible screen idea will be a good addtional to Note 9. As a portable screen for their dex mode. Seeing that note 9 no longer need a dex station for dex mode. So just a display, ultra thin, no battery no other component.. just a simple usb c port some small circuitry. Roll it up like a newspaper.. a 10 inch display on demand..

If that thick it won't fit in pocket so pointless. May as well have a 6.2" approx regular screen phone. IE, Note 9.

It gets to the point where people vote with their wallets & just buy the phone that packs the hardware at an affordable price rather than paying for many weird and wonderful screens at the cost of other internal hardware.

People are so idiot. They don't see the real future. This is the real future right here, foldable phones. You can have a 10-12 inches mobile in your pockets, basically tablets are done. These idiots think glass built, or notch etc. is the future, while it's just a temporary stupid trend which is never gonna last. I look forward to see these foldable devices.
