Paul, 19 Aug 20189 devices... but nothing high-end (even Nokia 8 Sirocco isn't high-end).
Yep, and even nothing disruptive in terms of technology, or R&D, just the kind of models that have better profit margin and where they can compete. It is not a technology strategie, but a business strategy instead. And it seems to be working.
Of course, I'd like to see a real flagship or a groundbreaking device from them, and they are not delivering it yet.
Vitaliano G., 17 Aug 2018Event though they have released a grand total of 9 new devices this year.9 devices... but nothing high-end (even Nokia 8 Sirocco isn't high-end).
Anonymous, 18 Aug 2018HMD is practically part of Foxconn.Who told you that? Where did you read it? Get your facts straight before writing.
nokia is very big brand.in india people like nokia. the are waiting for best smartphone in best range. i am also waiting for best phone in nokia.
NOKIA is most of the Indian people heart beat. i am also waiting for X6. i tried to buy 7plus, but price is too much. in case august 21 it will not release i wll go for another brand like ASUS Or Blackberry.NOKIAmarketing strategy is too good. HMD is Worst in this matter.

Nokia is just way to slowwwwwww... and still nothing about a new flagship device ?
I've the idea they just can't deliver in this competitive market... look at the GSMarena home page, Nokia is hardly ever seen in the list of announcements.
Waiting & waiting & bought another brand mobile. 😁 there is a limit of waiting. Sorry nokia.. you thought wrong.
"So it's reasonable to say India is getting the Nokia X6.
Details on pricing and launch aren't yet available,
. . . but the wait shouldn't be long now."
and nearly two months gone since that was written.
and ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M1 has won
and wins out.
If they price it at 20k then Honor Play would be a better option and at anything above 17k Mi A2 will eat into its sale.
That's what happens when you release a phone late into your best market. Hopefully HMD will learn from its mistakes.
There have been 3 newer CPUs announced since this has been released. It's already morally old. In smartphone time the specs are now in their mid 40s. HMD took waaay to long on this one.
Haha RIP Nokia. No contribution to 'Open Handset Alliance' and yet ripening fruits of Android. Guys, that's hypocrite Nokia for you.
