Paul, 19 Aug 20189 devices... but nothing high-end (even Nokia 8 Sirocco isn't high-end). Yep, and even nothing disruptive in terms of technology, or R&D, just the kind of models that have better profit margin and where they can compete. It is not a technology strategie, but a business strategy instead. And it seems to be working.

Of course, I'd like to see a real flagship or a groundbreaking device from them, and they are not delivering it yet.

I've the idea they just can't deliver in this competitive market... look at the GSMarena home page, Nokia is hardly ever seen in the list of announcements.

I don't see why this should cost more than the Redmi Note 5 Pro.

Details on pricing and launch aren't yet available,

. . . but the wait shouldn't be long now."

and nearly two months gone since that was written.

If they price it at 20k then Honor Play would be a better option and at anything above 17k Mi A2 will eat into its sale.
That's what happens when you release a phone late into your best market. Hopefully HMD will learn from its mistakes.

There have been 3 newer CPUs announced since this has been released. It's already morally old. In smartphone time the specs are now in their mid 40s. HMD took waaay to long on this one.

Haha RIP Nokia. No contribution to 'Open Handset Alliance' and yet ripening fruits of Android. Guys, that's hypocrite Nokia for you.
