Oh, not possible Mr. know-it-all? Nokia, Sony and recently Google have managed to replicate same image results with just single lens and a larger sensor...
GSMArena has hands down best video intro, great graphics, sounds, simply perfect. Regarding the review, in my opinion, Galaxy S9 is the best-looking phone to date. A single camera lens, perfectly executed (S8 was a disaster in my opinion), perfect for one-handed use, narrow and slim. Simply perfect phone!

PS: When I said hardware wise it is not needed; I meant two lens is not compulsory for bokeh effect. Thats it. Not talking about sensor size, lens focal length and aperture. Dont get too deep in photography here (camera vs phone). Simply saying it can be done with single lens. Ok. Bye.

Second lens in phones do help for better calculation if depth of field. I think that the phone engineers must hire you to help them solve better this physical barrier in phones, because it seems that you clearly know what you are writing. 😂

Bokeh/depth of field and many other factors depend of the sensor size, lens focal length and aperture. You can't compare the small sensor in the phones, and focal length with DSLR. On the Pixel phone, the portrait mode is only software based calculation. On the dual lens phones is software and hardware based. They use the focal length of the telephoto lens and the wide angle one to calculate and create better result.
Camera is disappointing compared to S8. Bought S9 plus, sold it and kept my S8.
In comparison to S8, front camera processing is awful, colours are off, skin colour is grey. Less definition of details such as hair, etc.
In comparison to S8 Back camera had less definition, less detail, white balance is not so good. 1.5 aperture no definition. In dim condition at 1.5 S9 has more definition in the center of the image, still the S8 has more definition overall... so not a real win. Dynamic range is better than S8 though.
Screen of S9plus is worse than S8, the battery is worse, only good thing about this phone is the double speakers, and better dynamic range of back camera (which in itself is not worse buying).
Buy S8, S8 pus off ebay and you will be better served.
I don't care 'bout S9. Angie is L O V E.

Depth sensing have nothing to do with a second lens as you can see on normal DSLR camera. Proper hardware and proper software can make great photos.

By that logic, every camera from dslr 4K cams to point and shoot compacts like Sony rx100 are absolute garbage at depth sensing cause they don’t have dual lenses...

is she reviewing a phone pr a samsung car? "daily driver" "your mileage may vary".
its not 1995, and if she is a journalist, she needs practice on Not regurgitating over used idioms and phrases. please get creative, and not regurgitate, you sound like everyone else.
There is something about this girl Angie in the video review. I don't enjoy the reviews when she is doing them. She looks and acts very much like a man. Her behavior is male than female. Even her appearance. Have you ever seen her without that stupid hat? Who wears a hat like this everywhere and all the time? She looks to be a family member of that other guy with longer hair who hss the same bad habit of partialy closing his both eyes while talking. She does that pretty obviosly. Damn its weird and also she looks not grown up and in puberty trying to be a rapper while reviewing phones at tge same time. Just look at the hand movements. Also the humor is only hard trying but looks very awkward and odd. The phone is the best and there is nothing better out there than a Galaxy S9.
Same old weird camera design
I have mine for a month and I would like to have better CPU management, if not in power save mode like by the video it can drain a bit faster.. exynos version.
Overall I would also recommend that spigen thin fit it's perfect with it, there is also a little more robust ultra hybrid version.
Just noticed recently Spingen also makes screen foils - invisible defender, that looked effective too. Will try it in 2days
