Being Portuguese and seeing Brazilians speak their variant of it is hilarious. Kinda like Australian english.

I remember from last year LG V30 vs some prof camera (Red i think) wirh price tag of 50 000$, and.. It was close call in picture quality hehe.. But, then again, V30 have good camera, also A8 (2018) have good selfie cam, maybe because of that, they do what they do with (fake) ad's.. Or to sell, one or two smartphones more. Samsung is still nubmer one in sales.

So samsung Brazil is now a different company on it's own? Sadly enough we all know samsung is the company with most false advertisment, highest scandal and fraud historys. I see samsung supporters just behave like samsung anyways.

The A8 (and most midrange phones nowadays) produce good, if not great, selfies which could look even better using professional software. So I still feel bad they have to go that way.

Nick Tagataka, 18 Aug 2018You know that Huawei got caught by using the same fishy advertisement method before when they ... moreNot only huawei, Nokia used a professional camera to advertise their OIS, Canon used pictures taken by famous photographers with other brands and called them their own, and there are many other examples. Fanboys tend to forget this in a matter of weeks.
The thing is, A8 isn't half bad, so it's really stupid to put themselves in that position.

Nothing new here. Do you really think that ANY photo presented to you as a "photo from our newest phone" is directly out of the phone? No, it isn't. It was either made with a real camera, or it was heavily processed in some image editor software. Why? To look better, and convince you to buy the phone.
Now, taking a photo from a stock site and presenting it as a photo from the phone is another level of stupidity, it's just that someone gets caught in manipulation, and someone still didn't.

H-1, 18 Aug 2018I wanted to have a short comment. Samsung Brazil did two things wrong: Stealing other people... moreThose pictures are acquired with unlimited licensing terms. Which means they have the right to use them as much as they want without further royalties and without attribution. But I agree that the presentation was a bit misleading in that it was implying that these pictures were shot on a Galaxy A8. But you cannot blame the response. The guy that published this does not make the stuff, he loads a .jpg and writes some text from marketing and he clicks Send. Obviously he is not supposed to know where these images come from
