If the price is about $700 US for the highest variant, then this thing will be best seller in 2018. So I choose there's another flagship which is better actually.

Huawei Honor note 10 for example.
Faster, more battery more reliable and a lot cheaper.
Pen is good only wor those who use phone as a computer othervise any phone with much lower price and simmilar specs is way better.

I also think there are a lot better flagships out there.
Anyway úhpne with an S-Pen is good maybe only for people who use phone instead of computer.
For the rest of the world anything like Huawei Hinor note 10, Pocophone or Mi8 Explorer made by xiaomi or Oneplus 6 is great enough.
Samsung and its horrible pricing enough is enough.

Also if Samsung was still innovating they would had eliminated charging times completely by eliminating the charger (you would have a rechargeable back which would include the battery pack and have two of them instead of having a charger + battery). As long as there is a technology to have zero charging times and basically infinite autonomy, you would always be able to get a million times better than today. In fact phones with their 6-7 hours of screen on time are still laughably unusable...

It's always run fine and runs amazing now. And years ago it barely actually had issues. And the few it had were comparable to the issues any other Android or even iPhone had then too

The battery is already pretty big. Adding a few more amps will not make as huge an impact as an S Pen.
Also, SD card slot is already present. Most consumers just need 128 GB so no problem in having a hybrid solution. Those who want more storage can go for 512 GB version or another flagship too . There are pretty excellent options out there for folks who don't want an S Pen.
Is the Note 9 the best smartphone? Depends on whom you ask.
But is the Note 9 a phone with the least compromises? HELL YEAH !!

Being the NOTE, it can have bit more width -about 80-82mm, the pen can be done away making room for bigger battery & card slot. Price could be cheaper..!!

(Of stock SE 9.0) but some people it might turn away,so hardware wise you are correct (Add an IR blaster, and an FM radio and people will snatch it like cupcakes! XD)
