4200 mAh battery with Android Pie and 7nm SoC? I'm drooling. I guess it's gonna be between the Mate 20/Mate 20 Pro and the Note 9 as the upgrade from my Nexus 6P once the prices drop.

I like my mate 10,but missing amoled a bit... Mate 20 looks like an interesting upgrade. Especially as it has flat screen

They could've gone with a triforce design on the back ;)
The notch on the front is more sensible, other manufacturers should learn a thing or two: a notch shouldn't take +50% of the notification bar!

Well, this is a notch (unlike iPhone X which has extended screen around the sensors) and it looks sooo soooo bad. I mean I can understand the extended screen on iPhone X and it is a feat of engineering and it looks cool having your notifications and clock up there where they are not eating from the screen usable area. But having a notch in the screen like this makes no sense. You dont need so much screen space up there for notifications and the clock.
This is pointless because sensors and the earpiece are missing, just to make room for notification icons which only require a couple centimeters of screen space. This is overkill and not needed. And it looks ugly AF! No wonder the iPX sells and is copied by all other manufacturers - its because it makes sense and is beautifully designed, with added extra features and sensors. But this... this is just pure BS. Taking out sensors just to show more useless screen wallpaper.
As always, Apple 1trillion - others zero. Go home hoawei, youre bad at original and useful designs.

The Mate 20 regular version should've also kept the SD slot like the Mate 10. Oh well, if the base storage is good then it's not that important.

It doesn't look...TERRIBLE...I mean people basing wanting the phone on the look of the rear camera are getting phones for the wrong reasons. The water-droplet notch is actually more pleasing than the garbage of the iPhone X or Pixel 3XL.
Still awaiting the Pro version to see if we get a bigger battery, better display resolution, and MicroSD Card slot.

Shame for not using QHD+ screen, if its flagship, no matter what wonders it come with it will lose in part user will use the most.

It will have a 3.5 mm jack? Yes, that makes it already more better than the P20 Pro. I thought the excellent Mate 10 would be the last, but this give hope. It also makes the Mate 20, an interesting challenger to the Note9.

They should rearrange the cameras/flash into a diamond position with the flash at the bottom. Or they should move them in the side with the flash at the innermost part. It would look better that way.

its a beautiful design.....all over kudooooos...!! i personally don't really hate notches as long as it goes with the ui and small notches like essential phone is always welcome and its actually better than vivo and oppo's front cam sliding mechanism coz design wise vivo and oppo types of phone looks good but i personally don't recommended moving parts in a solid build phone as this type of mechanism also effect water resistant capabilities.

I guess notches will be the death of the notification light.
I suppose always-on screens will help combat that issue.
For some reason I find the tiny notches annoying and unpleasant compared to standard notches, which I don't mind too much.

People commenting about how the notch is bad or good. Is the way you want it to be.
If you think is good then buy yourself a notch phone, there are plenty of them out there.
If you think is bad buy yourself a Samsung or Sony or even some models of Huawei.
It's that easy. Stop making bad comments about it. There are plenty of models on the market.
P.S. For example I bought Huawei P10 just because the P20 had a notch, but I respect the guys at Huawei for the design, was their idea in this moment to go with this trend.
