At least it will be much better flagship than brick from Sonny, Popping buttons device with plastic breakable S-Pen from Samsung, or Crapple 9 with tiny batteries first time with maybe a quickcharger supporting a 500 dollars wirreless charging mat.

For gaming phones though, it might sell the most in its category, which means it really just needs like 1 million devices sold

They should've done a massive online campaign, showed it off at all the recent Tech Shows, and send reviewer samples to all major influencers (eg UnboxTherapy) at the same time they open the Pre-Orders. Then the phone should've been shipped within 40 days.
Basically unveiled and showed off around Late-May and shipped in Early-July.
...and make it "the phone to compare to", so when other devices eventually do come out they are immediately compared to this. Just like how all the new devices lately have been compared to the OnePlus 6 in one fashion or another.
Now there's the Galaxy S9+ on discount, Xiaomi Mi8 widely available, the Note9 released, iPhone 2X to be unveiled, and the OnePlus 6t to come later. There's too much competition, and all the hype is focused on the competitors! ASUS has lost their edge, and they could be further humiliated with a second Razer Phone announcement.

I think also the best multimedia phone,
as well as a very special design-piece.
The best choice if sby would like a unique phone.
. . . and probably with all the ZF 5's camera experiences as well.

Why don't you ask Qualcomm to deliver that binned SoC-s earlier?!

i think their project planner sucks, its too late to release another 845 phone, they should have waited until they can acquire supply of the 855 chip-set, after all its not that far off.

The back camera isnt even matter when you built a gaming phone, just make it a decent 1. Also, the front is what matter since alot of people do live streaming.

Asus clearly only know how to release low end phones in time, but the high end comes out when they are outdated. Asus should just stick to computers.

And, why 4GB version? If it is aim for Mobile gaming, it should be either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and just don't mark the price too high.
