I don't really like that phrase, "a bunch of Nokia WP7 phones". Why can't it be less than a bunch? Minimalistic choice would be great right now. THough I'd still be interested with those phones though. Elop and Ballmer look sinister, extra point.

      That's because you aren't a computer scientist ?
Because a computer scientist will know how to read 2 lines of text before installing an app from chinese market.

People will choose iOS, not WP7 unfortunately if Android will be no more.

The event in London next week should be interesting, anyway. This could either make or break Nokia's future..

Nokia WP7 with hardware keyboard... I hope such a device is soon announced.

You can win me back, Nokia, just release a big screen QWERTY phone.

WP7 is a good move for Nokia. Continuing to flood the market with dozens of different handsets and 4 OSes is really, really bad.

They can satisfy all the relevant market segments and niches with a few good quality devices. If they stray too far from the Apple formula of "less is more" they will tarnish WP7 and destroy what little brand value thy have left.

Ashura, 19 Oct 2011Of course he is a kid why else would he troll and talk trash about Android on every topic? And you Android fanboys are a bunch of hypocrites and would call anyone who don't agree with you a troll/fanboy/kid.

I am not enamoured by Android and I see its cons outweighs the pros. Not everyone loves Google and there are some of us who loathes that company. What I say about Android are all true and it its you, Android fanboys, who can't accept the truth, twist the truth, and would not admit the flaws of Android.

I am a proud fanboy of Nokia and nothing can persuade me to move on to that malware magnet posing as a free-sourced OS, Android. I will support Nokia whatever decision they may choose.

After watching the video I really ask myself why Microsoft keeps this Steve Ballmer in the spotlight. He talks like an alcoholic, like he owns the market and bashes competitors but still Microsoft has less than 10% market share. You quickly perceive the man as unprofessional and don't want anything to do with him or is products. Imagine a car sales man acting like him. You'd probably want get away and go to another dealer.

Android has reached its crescendo. Already 4.5" screen. What next? 5.5"? That wow factor abt screen is going to lull out rapidly. Same goes with processors. Already dual-core. Next, quad-core. So on. There is hardly enuf apps/games to make full use of the potential. Quad-core will add up to the gulf only. I mean, the evolution is too paced, n in complete asynchrony with game/app rise. Android is heading towards an overkill. And that ensures other OSs will show up in the picture slowly.
As far as WP7 goes, it might have started almost crawling. But until now, nokia was still to jump into the foray as wp7 phone. Symbian might be like a paleolithic fossil from an old kingdom. But the ex-king is still fresh in the minds n hearts of its people. So, do expect a spur in wp7 sales.

Nokia screwed up the day they chose Microsoft's operating system over Android.
                                      What a gigantic mistake.
Nokia makes the best cell phone hardware and could have produced some amazing Android smartphones.
                                      Pity.
