I am not a Iphone fan or a Android fan, in fact I'm not a fan of any, but I have used Both high end Androids and Iphones and it is with no doubt that the galaxy nexus is way to overpriced, I said it if it were my money I would buy an Iphone or SGS 2, cause, let's face it SGS2 has better specs and will also get the 4.0 update so what is the point of paying so much instead of just waiting for 1-2 months, or maybe less?

Because the "reason" Iphones cost $800 and up is as much demand side as it is supply side. When you have Apple fanboys who have zero price sensitivity, Apple can raise prices without consequence. Don't confuse Apple nuthugging with build quality.

iPhone4S 16GB = $850 USD
iPhone4S 64GB = $1000 USD...price varies on the internet so I somehow failed to see how this is "expensive".
It is normal introductory price for a flagship device, and unlike iPhones which NEVER drop price in a prime-lifetime, Android devices folow classic market model - drop in price is visible even after 3 months. Not 18 months same price which was the case of iPhone4!
my Galaxy Tab dropped from £600 pounds to £400pounds in just 2 months (I bought it then) and now is around £200 sterlings, still a great device. This one will be soon free on decent contracts, or for £150 pounds - the same amount like inferior iPhone4S.
