& I'm sure you're aware of:
Huawei & Honor's Recent Benchmarking Behaviour: A Cheating Headache: https://www.anandtech.com/show/13318/huawei-benchmark-cheating-headache/4
Which makes 'real life' usage even more necessary.
Okay, I've gather that:
the Exynos 9810 is faster than the Snapdragon 845 for the CPU.
The Snapdragon 845's GPU Adreno 630 has the upper hand over Exynos's 18-core Mali-G72 MP18 @ 592MHz.
from reading about:
'the Galaxy Note9 (Exynos) is a top-grade performer. It's unrivaled among droids in single-core CPU performance, and it's got class-leading multi-core results. When it comes to graphics, the Snapdragon 845-powered devices have the upper hand, putting out on average about 20% better numbers'.
The above links to the S9+ performance page:
I would like to know the noticeable real World usage differences between the 2 chipsets, hopefully this will be incorporated into the original Note 9 review or the 'Long term review' (which should be really called the 'Mid term review' ;)
Hi GSMA Angie, you mention that the Exynos 9810 is faster than than the SD 845, please could you (or your colleagues) elaborate on this as it's been my understanding (right or wrong) that the Exynos is worse in performance as it throttles after 3 seconds (something to do with the architecture, idk).
I'm just a regular guy (not a tech head), but this and the Exynos 9810 showing worse on most of the benchmarks has been putting me off getting either the 128/6 GB S9+ or Note 9 (I'm not a power user).
Yep it's a amazing note compare to every another note's brand in the market.
But now I want Tab S4.... My my

monsterduc1000, 30 Aug 2018I've had an lg g5 fail on me, a Moto phone fail on me, but the 5 Samungs I've had, never faile... moreI've had Note 4, S5 and currently a Note 8 and the build quality is fantastic.
However, I had a LG G5 before the Note 8 and that was great. I've also had the Moto Razr I that was also ok/good.
I like Samsungs UI though and until another brand comes out with something to rival the s-pen, I'll be sticking with Samsung.
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2018Stay away from Samsung. Performance is good but quality is extremely poor. I've had an lg g5 fail on me, a Moto phone fail on me, but the 5 Samungs I've had, never failed. Guess that's why I always go back to them after some other garbage company phone fails.
comparing battery size 4000.mA to the rest of phones.....97% duration is not enough.... and as for stereo speakers, wheel i got it on my galaxy note edge stereo speakers as well with software settings mod and it works great.
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2018Not really. There was a time when LG and HTC made the best phone of the year. See where HTC is... moreLG has always released cheaply made phones with ridiculous price tags. HTC never understood smartphone buyers. Cutting back on view features in a bizarre plan to stand out. The only hit they had was the early Nexus generation. When Google made the feature requests. I don't know what reality you live in where those two brands were big sellers? :D

Mango Float, 30 Aug 2018Joke's on you. Samsung is already established in this industry. HAHAHADoesn't matter, it is losing big markets fast. First China and soon India. The only big market left is US and there competition is tough.
Stay away from Samsung. Performance is good but quality is extremely poor.
Anonymous, 30 Aug 2018The accent is thick, I like it.
About the phone, sorry Samsung you won't last long in this ... moreI don't know... It seems to be selling pretty handily here in Ireland. The preorders ended with a two week backlog at the provider I'm with....
I figure it's hard to go out of business if you make the best phone?
