The N9 display is really amazing. I hope Nokia 800 will have the same or better display.

I really don't get those who glorify WP.
To say that it beats android in every aspect is just plain insane.
Ever noticed the little thing - it basically CAN'T BE CUSTOMIZED? Can't put a frigin walpaper on it?
Can't change the keyboard and fonts?
Can't even put apps into a grid?!?!
You noticed it has ten times less apps than android?
              THIRTY TIMES less free apps?
Noticed lack of flash in the browser?
Noticed the same browser being unable to perform such basic requirement like TEXT REFLOW?
Noticed the lack of true multitasking?
              Noticed the WVGA screen limitation?
              Single core limitation?

..Noticed the launcher 7 app on android? Lol.
              Rest my case

Just because something isn't popular doesn't mean it's not good. I'll be the first to admit Symbian 3 was initially crap, but Symbian Belle is an absolute delight to use. Like anything, it needs to evolve, and Windows phone is definitely evolving.

yet they didn't bother to promote it when it still had the right OS and was dubbed N9. MeeGo with Harmattan UI is truly novel and intuitive, feels natural and snappy. now don't get me wrong, I love the hardware side too. it's nothing short of beautiful, with this glass looking like a liquid spilt over this super-sexy matte unibody. and then there's this magnificent screen, clever camera and all. but I think that it's the OS that makes the N9 so magnetic. though I do like this elegant matte finish, so different, so premium, none of this glossy cheapo piano-wannabies. but that alone won't make the 800 a device you'd gladly unlock every now and then, just to enjoy this experience. MeeGo experience, that is.

This is a beautiful phone, and the design should be a template for future models.

I always hate windowsmobile but i love windowsphone.
People said the ui is ugly, i see it as unique. I prefer functionality over looks, and i think i've wait long enough to let the wp mature. Personally, if u looking for a great wp device, no doubt it will be nokia.

If they are so confident with WP why not give Nokia 800 a different skin? I mean, it's N9's twin for crying out loud!

What WP7 WILL do at the most is enter into competition with the iPhone and Android, but what it WON'T do is kill off the competition. Another successful OS, nonetheless, would be more than welcome. It would give a wider range of choices to the consumer.

Looks pretty nice. Right now I'm torn between the Galaxy Nexus, Focus S and Nokia Searay. Next week will be Microsoft's last chance for WP7. Hope they don't dissapoint, again.
