I am excited with its release!... just one more day to go. I was originally planning to buy Nokia N8 but i decided not to for the mean time and check what Nokia has new to offer. The smart phone seems to be promising... It could either make it or break it... I will do first my homework before buying this phone... Want to hear more about this phone. I love reading everone's input on this. thanks guys!

Nokia and Intek's partnership is up and Intel has moved on to a more secure company (Samsung Who I don't prefer actually). Tizen is between Samsung and Intel. Nokia turned their backs on MeeGo (a Great OS).

Stephen Elop is a Microsoft double agent.. Hence Nokia choosing Windows Phone.... But seriously, Windows Phone 7 is a really good platform. Accept the restrictions, and immerse yourself into how it does what it wants to do, i.e. integrated social networking via hubs. Then you'll see why its a wonderful OS. Android fans get turned off because they expect all phones to have customisable / widget based home screens not even once considering perhaps, the tiles in WP7 is similar to widgets. iOS fans scream at the "ugly" look of tiles and the missing app screens not even once considering how WP7 eliminates the need for many apps (e.g. People Hub = Facebook + Twitter + Messenger + Contacts + Linkedin). Which leads us to only one conclusion for the hate of WP. Most just don't like how different WP is. Watching videos and reading reviews will not do justice to the platform. You really need to use it, then accept its different, then get used to it being different then things will suddenly make sense and fall into place. Looks restrictive, but it just simply works. Once it works, it will suddenly feel.. Hmmm.. Brilliant? At least that's my feeling.

The reason why Nokia turn to Microsoft is so that they could differentiate themselves. Which means they would have exclusive customization access. Second is that, Google does not need Nokia, but Nokia needs Google. Whereas Microsoft and Nokia both need each other. Recently, Symbian Belle has received Microsoft Office apps. Perhaps these're more support come. As for me, i think its good, WP7 will have support for Windows system including Xbox Live. Android will have Sony support since they are planning to bring more Playstation Certified Smartphones and tablets.
